It seems pretty nice copy of multifix, good addition to the lathe. You are probably the only machinist on the interwebs that keeps using the mf70 and pushing to the limit it usage, props to you
@@zhadlun Danke...I think I need AA for my Lorch LLPV.. I have an original, Swiss-made Multifix A size, but the center height on my LLPV, from the compound, is about 4 mm too 'short... I would have to mill off part of the compound, which never seems like a good idea... I do have another, larger Loch Type A, which the Multifix might fit, but it's in storage, so I'm in more immediate need of something for the 'watchmaker' size lathe.
@@derkarhu5079 Ab is around halfway between A and Aa in size. It may fit your lathe. PeWe tools offer a nice PDF with some measurements on how to pick the right size for your lathe. I think they were the first to offer an intermediate size between Aa and A (original Multifix didn't offer such an option), they called it AS. I think Paulimot's Ab is a copy of PeWe's AS.
the multifix system is so accurate, and so robust...it also makes the tool setup seem remarkably easy!
When locking the tool piece in tighten it anticlockwise, if you read the instructions that's what it advises you to do as it tightens more securely.
Good video .. what is the addition on the bed travel on the back right? - seems a good fixture to have to lock the bed on that side.
Here it is ruclips.net/video/3GeY6z5e018/видео.html

I would say, it’s only a label of Proxxon MF70 on my milling machine. Maybe soon it will become cnc, who knows.
Where can I find a tool post like this one?
I bought mine here www.paulimot.de/Multifix/ab/set-mit-vier-stahlhalter
Did the lead screw covers come with it or out sourced?
they was with lathe
is that a 'Paulimot' brand AA size holder system?

How many W is your motor?
the motor is 700w
Это у Вас размер А или АА?
Это АБ размер, клон, чтото среднее между А и АА
Multifix makes your machine even less stable. The last thing you need.
