How many kids are going to whip this out in some national park without a clue it's against the law to fly a drone in any US national park? Rangers going to be busy.
This would have worked if... it followed another device you have. You just set its flight hieght and walk with the other device in you pocket. Why? Aside from being more usable for anyone, if someone grabs your pixy and runs with it, tracking it is easy plus even if they get away they wont be able to use it without the companion device in your pocket.
A personal drone that costs as much or more than other drones on the market and is locked into an app that reports your location, activity, and everyone around you to back to the company and likely to their chinese stockholder Tencent. Hard pass.
Good point! Drone size does not matter, anyone making profit from use of a drone is required to have a Part 107 license from the FAA. I wonder how many of these IG / RUclipsrs have no clue about the current drone laws? Will the FAA go after them like they did other RUclips guys with drone video?
Fun.. But not for $250.00. A DJI mini is a far better option/tech, and around this same price point. That aside, I love to see this kind of tech and it’s potential.

You over estimate how many people have access to a national park. I’m assuming you mean kids as adults as well. Still stands.
