Every time I see Cali running around and Shawn throwing that red floating thing. I always think that; Cali must be the healthiest dog, getting to be so much outside and all that space to run and play with Shawn. It just makes me smile. All I ever wanted when I was young was my own dog. My first weeks wage in 1968 was £4 and my mum and I went to a dog home and I bought a puppy cross between a Boxer and Labrador. It was a great dog, companion and friend. He died at the age of 16yrs old and I still think of him a lot. He protected my son and daughter when they were born and took to my wife immediately. His name was Callie. Happy memories to my Callie and happy bierthday to your Cali.
