    I got my PhD in Pharmacology in the 90s. Dr Ames is a rockstar. If the general public understood who this man was you would have millions of views. Congrats on getting this interview.

    I came here from one of Dr. Anthony Chaffee's videos where he mentioned Dr. Bruce Ames. Early nineties and his body and brain still work... I WANT THAT! Never stop researching nutrition.

      Haha yes he did say that his "lovely Italian wife" keeps him healthy by making food with lots of veggies and olive oil!!

    Ion-pumps between cells need K, Na, Cl and Ca to communicate with each other (and more that I don't know about). If cells lose contact between themselves they can go rogue and live for themselves only - like amoeba - that's why cancer is so smart, cells are smart af on their own and want to survive - metastasis.

    Thank you for this podcast. Wonderful! From my own experience, a balanced diet with some animal foods, healthy fats and lots of veggies works best for me. 🙂
