    One thing I don’t care about is what haters say about Tesla or the plaid. I own the model S plaid and it’s amazing. No other car can do low 9’s in the qtr mile, self drive itself and be the highest safety rating all in one.

    Accurate review - I've driven an early example of the plaid and I've driven a Taycan Turbo - chassis of the Porsche is superior and interior quality a bit better but I think that the Model S is overall the better car and at a lower price. With regards to the hate out there for Tesla, it's probably because Tesla doesn't pay to advertise but the competition does so the media companies advocate Tesla's competition but speak negatively about Tesla

    Beautiful Car!! I don’t know why so many people hate on Tesla! It’s weird because all the haters I talk to… have never even ridden in the car!! 🥴

    Where do I start? All facts you conveyed sir! Tesla in the modern era, reminds me of the era from Horse buggy-to-Model T era. Guess what? People back then complained in the newspapers all over, that the ICE cars were too noisy, dangerously combustible, and unreliable. The key was to APPEAL to the masses, or the middle class back then. ICE cars will soon fall out of favor as the primary mode of transportation. EV's are now popping up every where from car manufacturers globally. This makes me feel so good! For change.
    I was horribly laughed at when I sold my 2008 C6 Z06, and purchased my first MS. EAT FUQING CROW NOW, you haters! My stock prices are threw the roof since Tesla has gone public.
    To your point, Tesla is not a perfect product, but it IS a SOLID one. Folks have no CLUE what they're missing in technology, time convenience, and safety/security. You won't find perpetrators stealing a Tesla, while you're shopping. You won't find gas fumes, or oil puddles inside your garage. You won't ever need car keys, or a key fob. You won't ever have to worry about being locked out of your car and calling the locksmith. No issues with leaving babies, dogs, or anyone in the car accidentally w/o being alerted via camera surveillance notification to your smart phone. Give anyone access to drive your car w/o you being physically present. I could go on and on. After several years of owning Tesla models, I have not ONCE-CHANGED MY ROTORS, BRAKES (regen), OR BATTERY ENGINE COMPARTMENT. SAVE $4000 ANNUALLY on fuel costs. Folks, what I'm trying to say is, don't be naive into believing every thing the media says about Tesla. GO BOOK YOU A TEST DRIVE AT ONE OF THEIR GALLERIES! Trust this content creator, and me; You won't regret it!
    NICE VIDEO!

    So nice to have a level headed person do this review. I don’t think it’s the media that’s the reason for the negativity but the Tesla fanboys who don’t recognize that Teslas are not the best at everything (not even close actually) and owning a Tesla is not going to solve world hunger or end any wars… it’s just a computer on wheels. It’s not the fastest, not the fastest acceleration, not even close in braking performance, doesn’t even have best range… even with an add on battery in the CT (embarrasing), does not have the most efficient batteries, doesn’t have faster charging, definitely not the most luxurious, not the only company doing over the air updates or over the air recall fixes, not the first to offer over the air updates, not even 4th to offer bidirectional charging. So if you actually like the look, the minimal (sparse) interior and you don’t mind being 2nd, 3rd or 4th in most categories and willing to buy a used demo model where the price dropped 50-60% but hundreds of fanboys have driven the snot out of it, then I would agree it’s a pretty good value.

      I think for the cost it is a good value. You get speed, handling and stress free driving. I have owned Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Acuras, Fords etc. The Tesla is not as luxurious and the looks are OK but to me is a good bang for the buck. It makes a good commuter car. I still plan to keep my BMW M3 and add a 911 S to the garage. I also love the low to no maintenance cost, not going to the gas station, not having to smog the car and the over the air software updates. The car is continuously improving. I do not see having just an EV but having both works nicely.

    • @KenKellySWFL
      @KenKellySWFL 2 месяца назад

      Tesla innovated and pioneered a lot of things(Supercharging, OTA updates) that other manufacturers are simply copying… give credit where credit is due! They may not have the best interiors, but are years ahead of everyone else in tech. That’s why some manufacturers are stepping away from EVs.

      @@mocheen4837 I owned 1 Mercedes, cost me about 6000$ in parts in one year! Never going there again!
      My BMWs were actually pretty solid! Almost 0 problems across the board (520i (2002), 530i (2004), X5 (2004), X6 (2008) ,X6( 2012), 530e (2018), 118i (2017), 118 (2022)).
      But still, Tesla feels like 10 years ahead technology wise! I just can’t go back.

    Lovely example of the Model S. I considered it but it's just too large of a vehicle for me. I think folks hate on Tesla because they are mindless lemmings. They hear what the media says about it and just accept what they hear without questioning or discernment. It's sad and explains why this amazing country is failing so badly. Anyways, congrats & enjoy!

    Curious how much you ended selling your previous Audi RS GT for? You bought it for $164K and sold it for I guess around $90K? Meaning you lost $74K in such a short time?

    I'm so jealous, my 2023 Model S long range was the same price as your Plaid. I got mine at the end of April and I thought I got it for a good price. I could've gotten a Plaid with the same specs like yours for the same price. 🤬 Congrats on the Tesla though!

    What would help retain interest would be an idea on the costs of the cars you got. For example I watched a few videos to see how much you were able to get the Etron GT RS 2023, and then sold it for. But nadda.

    The Plaid is the best car ever made, way better 10 better than Porsche and Audi RS GT for sure and presents on the road Plaid is way better than any other cars, wide slick design !! Also supercharging everywhere sweet. So please do not pay attention on Media that you hear or heaters that cannot afford the Plaid. Also Plaid will smoke all cars anytime any place like 99%!!!

    Down side is range. Whatever the car tells you subtract about 40% for actual range. I love my 22MSP. But I'm going back to ICE.
    It's just a shame to spend 100k on a car and get 150 ish miles of range.

    • @EwanM11
      @EwanM11 7 месяцев назад +1

      How are you driving it? I get more than 200 motorway miles out of a m3p easily. I think you'd have to drive very fast for the range to be that bad.

    • @styme314

      Interstate 70-75 mph. Mainly city driving less than 50 mph. It's cold weather now.
      My brother at a 16 MS and 19 M3P both get around the same.
      Ran into a little old lady in a 21 MSP she was getting the same as me. And this 80 year old granny was not driving fast. It actually caught me off guard when she got out of the car.
