  • Ep 2 - Swan River Snapshots - A BRIGHT IDEA - Welcome to the second episode of my new series - Swan River Snapshots. I’ve always been a big supporter of the ‘natural colour theory’ of flats fishing - get my lures and plastics as close to natural baitfish colour as possible. Bloodworm, motor oil etc. However, I’ve heard of the opposite working for people - bright, garish colours. I decided to put it to the test.
I’m fishing the Swan with the brightest, most unnatural colours I can. Will the bartail flathead like them? Check it out!
    ABOUT THE SERIES:
In Swan River Snapshots, I move around the mighty Swan River, fishing brief sessions. Not every angler has hours to spend, so my hope for this series is to chuck in a line when I can, narrow my focus and answer some questions that our magnificent river has left me with.
