Leylah has tried her best all the time and she always has the fighting spirit, but she has to find a way to improve her service games. I don’t understand why she is not getting a (real) coach to help her.
She can keep her dad around, but she needs a coach to fix a few holes in her game. Shes a great athlete. She is getting better but the trajectory is not steep enough.
It's sad that I had to watch Iga's match at the same time; this match is fantastic, both players had to not only use thier strength but also their mind, so many skills in the match.😊
@@ruwaydaobaray5974 maybe she needs some TUE. Many players take TUEs not to enhance performance but that’s a side benefit of it. Verdasco, Jabeur’s coach in Madrid the other week used to take Adderall as TUE or something. Serena took prednisone awhile back as TUE.
I feel the same. I think it might be Tennis IQ. Choice of shots. And she telegraphs her nxt shot. Relies too much on shot patterns which Ons could predict. Maybe she just needs someone who can improve her serve (like. BArty’s - same height) and add more shots to her arsenal. But… shehas improved! This is Ons and not just any player
Ons deserves a slam for the way she plays she is the most technical player in the court a top top talent but she's emotionally shaky and has lack of stamina due to age if she had found her prime in her early twenty she would have been a multiple slam winner. She is technically on the level of Iga and Sabalenka but she lacks behind in the physical, toughness and mental game
Ons had figured out her game. Leylah has a game to beat anyone. She just doesn’t have enough fire power to hit the opponent off the court. Not like Sabalenka or Rybakina or even Swiatek.
Ons was really hitting some good winners on really crucial points. I love Leylah, but I feel like she's really got to improve her decision making on some of her shots. Sometimes, she makes unnecessary ones on easy putaways or ones where she's essentially handing the point over to her opponent.
What, did you just start watching wta Leylah is one of the sweetest young women, and put everything into her game for such a petite girl,I have all respect for Ons but Leylah deserves just as much respect, just keep it to yourself if you can’t be kind
Jabuer & and her coach needs to re think her net play ; too often now , she sets up for an easy volley but hits a weak one giving the opposition another shot ... She wasnt doing this 18 months ago
idk why, but I just cant seem to like Ons. There is just something about her just raising her fist up after winning a point. Shes had some good points in this match, but she does it all the time in other matches...even when she looses multiple in a row she makes a point she wins seem so significant. Idk its prob just me.
Congrats Ons. You played very well and deserved to win. Best of wishes for your future matches. You deserve the trophy, girl. You are a formidable player.. leyla is no match for you
Hernadez needs to add one really good shot , in order to move up to a firm top ten player Consistency alone that got her to one big final before , no longer enough
😊EXCELLENTLY EXECUTED by both players, it was real 'GRUDGE MATCH' from the jump, and I wish it would've went a Third Set,,, 😔 . Good Job 👏🏾 u played hard! 💪🏾 . Im just catching up to the highlights NOW!! So forgive me , please, 🙏🏾👼🏾, I no more Cable T.V. I thought the Tournament was in June 😢
@Roland-Garros, i hate spoiler thumbnails. Wish you hadnt spoiled it before i watched the highlights. Surely im not the only one bothered by it. Please fix it.
Jaber is the player that will always be there but never jump to that next level of champion 🏆 sorry. She's a mix of those type of great players that never were.
Leylah loses too often in the second and third rounds. She needs to get a coach to get her over the hump. All the workouts and training is not helping. She needs to train smarter, not harder.
Horrible matchup for Leylah. She can't move on clay, she's literally on skates. She has no drop shot. She plays scared. It's an L no matter how you slice it.
Ons is my fave. Just need to control her emotions. Well done!
Wouldn't it be something if Jabeur could finally win a slam?
The sky is the limit
Would be the best if it was Wimbledon. 🎉
The World wants this
If Ons could stay this focused, i definitely see her finally wing this. Leylah os a fantastic and creative player, but Ons is a genius at this level.
would be a desgrace tbh
what a match point !!!

Agree!
And I think she is super wonderful and want her to do better!!!! ☺
Fernandez has the ability and energy to be n the Top 10 but she even a part time professional coach to help her father in bringing the best of her
Because it's not cheap. $10k is basic salary monthly whether you win or lose. Plus flights and accommodation...
One of Jabeur's better matches, great control, great placement, superb touch as usual. What a pleasure to watch.
Beautiful game.
GO jabeur!! Let' go to the final Jabeur, You can do it!
It's sad that I had to watch Iga's match at the same time; this match is fantastic, both players had to not only use thier strength but also their mind, so many skills in the match.😊
The Jabeur match was much more exciting, I would have rather seen that entire match
No yelling, Just all court skill clay-court tennis.
Womans tennis would be this, if Williams did not make it a ball-bashing game.
@@alani3992lol Seles came before Williams. She was one of the first bashers, not Williams.
Really want Ons to make the final, come on!
Well played LF! We were cheering for you! Almost got her. Keep pushing.
My as.. she got her
Almost ? She didn’t win a set
I was cheering for her too. I don't think she'll ever win a slam.
Definitely need extended highlights for this one...!
Awesome job Jabeur and great play by both players 💪👍🏽👏🤝
It's always a good match up when these two meet
Layla was moving here and there. Ons is extremely tactical, can’t play her game. Cool match
Jealousy 😅😅😅 go ons go dont forget Ons has a lot of experience..layla just new 😅😅bye layla bye canada
@@naderben8639 Félix still Shapo still Bianca still and Leylah play in double tomorrow except why you said bye Canada ? 🤣
well done Ons and great fight from Annie. Both looking solid and playing exciting tennis on clay!
Bravo ons 🇹🇳Bravo on 🇹🇳 thank you go ahead and believe in yourself 🇹🇳 🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳 thank you very much halla Habibi
this was a great match! can we have the full match uploaded please
What a celebration. Match point. Amazing. Go further, Ons...
Jabeur is bigger and physicality more imposing than Fernandez but I love the finesse and fight in Fernandez. She lost today but Good luck to Leylah!
The level of women's tennis is amazing!😮
I love Leylah's game but waiting for her to get that extra something, including consistency.....new coach perhaps?
She’s not much match for the Jabeur, who often takes the ball on the rise and hits a much more penetrating shot .
@@warrenapepuffet4612almost 10 years difference in their ages. Hopefully, the young player could be there soon.
WHen her father wanted to leave so that a proper coach could come in, she refused. Wanted her father to stay on. It's her own fault.

Africa is waiting Go Ons
A very interesting match ... it felt like mind vs spirit :)
Yala, Ons! Hands down my favourite female player!😎
Watched your other 2 games and they were awesome Leylah, good luck next tournament
Bravo Ons❤
On est fers de toi
On vous aime ❤❤❤😊
Playing Jabeur is like hitting against a wall, the ball is always coming back and the harder you hit, the faster it comes back.
This was the Battle of coaches who's gonna yell and cheer for their player louder . I loved the atmosphere ngl and the game is beautiful 💅
Are Janeur’s and Fernandez;s coaches annoying to other players.
Bravo! Ons, hope you have a breakthrough on this tournament.
The fire in Om is back
This is how highlights should be done.
Proud of you Leylah 🎉 good luck rest of the season!
What a GLADIATOR !! 💪🏼 bravo Ons 🎉❤️
Although I am Canadian and was cheering for Leylah, Ons you deserve the win. Good luck to you.
Enjoy ons tennis so much
FUCK it's good to see Ons winning
great job Jabeur, bonne continuation
Ugh. I'm always rooting for LF but she can't seem to get over the hump

I don’t think Leylah will ever win a slam. But i love watching her play. Great Intensity.
this is the jabeur we know. well played.

Ons Jabeur looking a little bit emotional but stll convincing

Jabeur looks really fit.
great job, Ons , you r the best, much much better player and sportsmanship and nicer than your opponent , for fact

Jabuer & and her coach needs to re think her net play ; too often now , she sets up for an easy volley but hits a weak one giving the opposition another shot ...

Win , lose or draw , Leylah always gives 100pc effort. I enjoy watching her. Never grunts either.
Fernandez is so cute when shes to sweaty playing.i hope she will improve more and more🍾🇵🇭🇵🇭
Wow
These Leyla outfits are so cute!!

I need their commentary on this match.

Tight.
Leylah is a crowd puller.
Beautifully angled shots as always...
Good to see Leylah. Not her day though.
did fernandes choke, or was jabeur clutch or both?
Yallah ons cmon

Man that was hard to watch. Like both of them, and of course one had to lose.
Love you Layla but I think it's time to break the strings. You need a new coach. You are not realizing your true potential. Again, love you..

Pump fist too early... Waste energy jumping before serve... 😒
Fernandez needs a new coach. Daddy needs to let go

At times Ons was playing around with Fernandez
Pena que acho que se chegar na final não leva o título, ela fica muito nervosa parece que desaprende a jogar tênis
leyla so exotic ❤
Fluke-nandez shows little to no game plan, and she won't get into the top 20 without one.
No hugs at the end from mama Jabeur, the mother of all tennis plyrs
Nadal celebration 🤙
Leylah kind like stuck where she is 😂
Une célébration à la Nadale
Typical Leylah. Always up a break or ahead in the tiebreak but ends up losing the seat. She doesn’t have that same grit she had at the US Open 2021
I always cheer against anyone using an oversized racket.
لاعبه سيئة جداً تحتاج تغيير مدربها و مدرب اللياقة
Wasted opportunity for leylah
just look at Jasmine Paolini she beats before, Jasmine has progressed a lot and Leylah still the same. something not right
Isn’t Jasmine jabeur’s age? There’s almost a 10 year gap between Fernandez and Paolini.
Противно смотреть как теннисистка Жабер у которой 1метр 50 рост продвигается по сетке, а сегодня она обыграла Тайсон!!!
Jabeur wants it! Let’s go!
Her sliding backhand so smooth
