I never paid her career much mind. I figured she was chasing a schoolgirl's dream of being in a high level performer's band as the main talent. I figured she had no chance. BUT......this tune blew my face off......I should have been more diligent in assessing her accordingly. Lisa Marie......you HAD IT Girl. And she had her OWN STYLE of singing. That's ok, Dylan doesn't write happy songs either, I get it, these songs meaningful and from the heart, Musial poetry, and this is important in song- writing, even Elvis, who didn't write songs, wanted meaningful tunes, but the songs he sang were sad about lost love, but some how you really enjoyed these songs because of his feelings and emotions, Lisa does that too, but the difference is some of her songs really depressing, no offence, but rap, and hip pop are worse, swearing, violence, too much negativity. I mean some good old fashion,,schlock,, once in a while, me personally, am a fan of upbeat music, that you can dance or sing to, I'm 61, and I loved disco days. But to each his own, I still respect all songwriters, they are gifted and I appreciate that.
