This dude is way more technical than Lombardi, who thinks he is too special for JDFA. I would much rather listen to real film breakdowns than any of the “journalists” blow hard

Gregory and Kinlaw were already dominant, but adding this guy REALLY puts this line over the top
If he plays anywhere near his rookie year where he was PFF #5 DE, he can help us get back to wining with 4 formula of 2019. We then play more matchup or zone behind them letting the LB's kill everything across the middle. He could unlock us like Dee Ford did
He's been playing better than his rookie year now he's finally healthy and motivated with a team that's competing and he's back with good friend in bosa this could set chase free to earn massive new contract whilst helping niners chase a sb pun intended lol

First off they got Chase young for pennies. And it was a move they needed to make to get past the Eagles. NFC Championship game 49ers versus the Eagles that is the stars out for the liners

While I appreciate what chase might be able to do for our run defense, i feel like a lot of the niners defensive problems are in the secondary, not giving bosa and the other linemen enough time to work.
It’s definitely the coverage scheme in our sus secondary. We’re not strong when it comes to man coverage.
QBs have had over 3 seconds to throw in the losses. Yes, the DBs are a problem but we are nearly 1 second over compared to the Defense in years past. Wilks scheme is atrocious and doesn’t maximize our players.
Secondary is the same unity as last year besides Nickel CB where we obviously downgraded... But the pass rush is not getting there quick enough.

No one seems to grasp that unless steve wilks starts laerning things VERY quickly and stops sucking then it wont matter who gets put on the defense.
people need to stop blaming him.....we have 13 missed tackles last game....people arent tackling like they are capable of...so many missed tackles on 3rd down has been missed tackles which is the real difference

I really believe Lynch tried to get a corner. We look at things from a critical Niner pov...our future opponents are probably scared sh*tless to face our d-line. I think we improve against short passes but opponents try to counter. We can't get worse on 3rd down either. The rest and time to make adjustments, get healthy and look in the mirror will be our biggest blessing of the season.
In the best case scenario do you see Dee Ford or is he a totally different player?

Nope. We're still running Wide 9
His motor isn't as high as I thought. Def not a play to the whistle blows player.

Why did they give him away for nothing?
Last year of his rookie contract. They would have had to pay him. This way they grab a 3rd rounder in their rebuilding year. That is why they also traded Montez Sweat.
