Full time RVer here for 8+ years. IMO Switch It Up has now become a business enterprise and not a fulltime RVer. I understand all the nonretired RVers needing to support their lifestyle but all these "influencers" out there in today's society are IMO not true fulltime RVers.
Exactly what I was thinking especially when I first watched when they were traveling and they lost a tire on the road and how she was crying and literally thinking about giving up this life style to now seeing that they purchased an HDT and then had a Space Craft RV 54 ‘ in length with a huge led screen, a deck on the roof and a state of the art sound system for musicians and speakers. I knew right then they weren’t doing full timing anymore but being used as advertisement and receiving money from manufacturers to promote their products. I mean she even said it herself. And they even posted up their sponsors. And you know all this is given to them they didn’t spend a dime for that RV and Truck and are getting paid as well, while full timers are spending money to full time and have issues with their RV’s and no help from the manufacturers. Unless they agree to promote their product.
I drove commercial trucks for years this size. I could not imagine pulling this thing, we pull a 35’ 5er now and the places we cant fit into because of size, not to mention the back road camping we cant get into because of height and ground clearance. Way to much effort and work to travel for me. Enjoy parking at Walmart or a rest stop with this rig. Your setup Tom is more practical………Enjoy the Journey

There are two tour tours going on simultaneously, one for Tom, and then 90 seconds later the same thing again for Cheri. Cheri is faking it, you can tell that the entire rig is simply obnoxious to her, but she’s trying to find polite things to say for appearances sake.
That rig is too much. It makes their channel un-relatable. That’s what I like about you guys. I can actually obtain your style and level and use your experience’s for me to emulate.
So, people who have a nicer house or car than you are not relatable? It's a vehicle, their channel is about a community movement. Not for you to be jealous of their rv.
Carrying around a concert sound system and a huge video screen. I am a retired commercial VJ/DJ and didn’t have the heart to sell my equipment. Mostly trade camp site for a few hours of entertainment. My rig is 56’.
Ok... WHY? are you serious about living in that monster. It's so silly. Will you now buy a smaller rv so that your can actually continue to travel? OR, your so popular now, people come to you???
The crew will come to them. We do mission work during our huddles, attend church service, and listen to music along with just having a great time. With this, they can build their mission. Many full time RVers feel alone and miss the connection they had. The switch crew is taking care of weekend warriors and full timers.
These are the ppl forcing new laws for all rvers. They shouldn't be rolling down the highway with more weight than a licensed CDL driver. We don't put these drivers through license requirements for no reason. If you knew a tractor trailer driver next you had a regular license be first person calling police. These guys are no different. Not to mention I don't need or want bright lights in campgrounds attacking every bug. Go to a concert leave the outdoors to nature.
