I just received my Pod Go a couple of weeks ago and I’m still trying to wrap my old brain around it. Just started playing again after about a 35 yr absence and when I did play in my early days in the 70’s, I had a couple of pedals, like a wah, a fuzz etc, a Strat and plugged into a Marshall half stack..now I’m using a Boss Katana and my Pod Go. This Pod Go seems like it can give me what I want but again, it’s been a very slow journey so far. Thanks for the video…!
I like your approach of parameter changes instead of basic bypasses. I do the same with reverbs and delays (always on, parameter changes for stomps). 2 things that have helped me get more out of Pod Go. 1. Jailbreak presets: remove FX Loop and Wah (sometimes Volume and more). More room for fun fx (up to DSP limit)! 2. Any parameter change assignment is also snapshot-able by default. You could get 6 parameter values on 1 patch. Footswitch on/off and a unique value for each of the 4 snapshots. I'm tinkering to get Reverb, Reverb+ on a stomp and ambient on a snapshot (Reverb++ & Delay mix) Great first video!
Amazing video! I wish more folks knew how uncomplicated a preset needs to be in order to cover pretty much every tone need. Loved the pushed clean by the way!
This is brilliant. I never made good use of the Parameters foot switch idea. Hopefully i now will! I am going to recreate your rig with "my" Soldano. Thanks for the inspiration!!
I watch a ton of these kind of 'how to' multi FX videos, and I think that this vid is amongst the best I've seen. It's criminal you haven't got more subscribers. This vid is excellent. I learnt so much. Bless you, dude
Awesome video! One of the things that I like to do is edit the text file of a preset to get rid of the effects loop (and maybe the wah). This opens two more effects for say a chorus and compressor. I also like to use the pod go in 4 stomp mode and set effect parameters to snapshots, which essentially is like 4 different effect pedals
Dude, I have a question that I can't seem to wrap my head around. I'm wanting to have my two amps in stereo, which I figured would be left channel out of pod Go to one amp, right out to second amp. But also need to use a bunch of physical pedals in the FX loop, some of which are stereo, others mono. Am I asking too much of the pod go wireless?
It would sound really good, but make sure that you turn off your virtual Amp and Cab in the Pod Go, otherwise it will sound like you have a wet blanket over your amp and it will sound awful.
@@CerealDust-nStuff thanks, actually I watched your other vid addressing this subject and thanks for that one as well. (I may stick with foot pedals). I think I'll order from Amazon so if I don't like it I can return in 30 days.
@@rickyrocket12 - Not my video... I just saw your comment and reached out to help. Yeah pedals are the way to go I think... except I need so many different sounds for so many different songs that I have to use the POD Go.

Hey my friend I often use this combo, just make sure you turn off the cab sim when using it through the katana.
@@craighamboMany Thanks for the info…I appreciate. Look forward to learning more from your videos…!
You can actually swap the fx-loop slot for an additional fx by editing the preset file with a text editor and deleting the fx-loop entry :)

I think you will have some phasing issues if the effects loop is being asked to deliver true stereo and mono at the same time.
Give it a go !
How do you think the Pog Go will sound going straight into a Fender Princeton Reverb or is it mostly for computer recording
