Then something is wrong with the software itself and you will need to flash it again... Better to try this method few times and still if hard reset gets failed, better to go to Samsung customer service guys instead of trying to flash the phone by yourself.

Hey I accidentally but dialed a pin password on my S7. I've tried to guess what the pin was but it was no use. I tried fallowing the vid but my phone won't shut off until I figure out the pin. What do I do then? Also every time I guess the pin wrong I have to wait for an hour.

Completely discharge the battery...then charge it back up. The phone should be powered off at that point and you can perform the reset.

Then just leave the phone until its battery is full drained. After that charge it without switching it on and then start the process
or just take the battery out then put in back in without turning it back on, it worked for me
My phone doesn't power off it need the password to power off

Sorry, I know the comments late, but draining the battery is unnecessary. The phone will shut off within 15 seconds of holding down the home key+power button+volume down button simultaneously.

TheTruthBeTold Press restart instead. And when the screen goes off while there’s a blue light on top, press Volume + Home + Power button straight away. Hope that helps.
