Mitch you brought on the mess we are all having to deal with today. Mitch, you prevented an elected President from putting his choice for the court. You did it Mitch, nobody else. In no way does Kentucky represent this nation, the uneducated masses there are not capable of putting decent people into office.

Defense spending???? How out of touch is this guy? The annual Defense budget is closing in on 1 trillion! A third of that pays for higher education, homelessness housing, and green energy conversion nationwide. The guy is living in 1980.
McConnell is obviously having a hard time answering questions that basically come down to if he's going to support the "crazies" in congress! Interviewing him was a waste of air time. He needed to be hammered on giving non-answers!

Thanks to people like Mitch McConnell and Newt Gingrich, our county finds itself in an extremely perilous situation. Since the 1980's, they have laid the foundation for Trump's Republican Party. When I read that Mitch was stepping down as Republican leader, I made myself a Kentucky Sunrise and a double! Ditto to all the comments below!!

McConnell is (barely) living proof that we need term limits on Congress like we have for the Presidency. Personally, I think we should have a 10 term limit for The House & a 3 term limit for The Senate.

Civil discussion never happened when McConnell led the senate. He often would not allow a discussion to happen at all in opposing views. It kills me that his first answer is telling anyone to sit down and have a civil discussion. So frustrating!!!

This is a perfect example of why we MUST have AGE LIMITS/TERM LIMITS in our government at EVERY LEVEL. This man and those similarly in age, should never be able to make decisions and laws that affect people who they have nothing in common with. He and his wife are BILLIONAIRES. They have lived lives of luxury and cannot relate to common with regular, everyday people, in any way whatsoever. Also, he is SO old that he has spent his whole life fighting against giving women autonomy over their bodies. People like him are not fighting FOR us... they're fighting FOR THEMSELVES.

It's like getting your parents to exchange their driver`s license for a state ID. It will take a Constitutional Amendment. We have to get our State Legislators to pass resolutions on a set of proposed age limit amendments so States can see what might get the 3/4 of States needed to ratify. I suspect the higher the age, the more States would vote for it. The States should also amend their own Constitutions, which would be another signal as to what limit would work.
