this is better than the training video in game, im so mad they didnt have a walkthrough with talking. they make you read it all and thats much harder to learn
Thank You. Very good easy to understand and follow tutorial for us newbies. I am enjoying the Mi8 and have been flying it for a while getting use to the flight controls and navigation. I am now getting into the weapon portion and have found your videos very useful.. Again Thank for you time in making the easy to understand and follow videos.
Thanks for your movies. These are the only ones who are comprehensive.Can you elaborate, or make a movie, about the protected switch, to the right of the "3-settings-switch" for choosing the gunpod ? And what about the bottom 3 switches of the gun-selection-quadrant ?Any idea how much Wodka was used by whoever designed this ? What were they thinking ?And what settings does the Rotary-knob has on the right of the cockpit ?
I forgot to ask.. did you ever get the gun range showing up question answered. I would love to be able to use it to if it is a shareable mod... Thank You
It seems like all of the weapons when employed by the Mi-8 are area effect weapons. I can get reasonable accuracy from the other guns. The grenade launcher would be a nice weapon if it was more accurate. For the most part though, the Hip seems best at saturating and area with ordinance rather than hitting a single target.
ED is continuing to produce module/asset that rely on a saturation effect more than a pinpoint method, while doing nothing to enable the fragmentation effects tipical of a saturation approach. That is ridiculous

Is it possible to get consistent accuracy with the grenade launcher or is that always going to be all over the place?

It's Mi17 not Mi8...
No, it's Mi-8MT.
Mi-17 is the export variant.
The Mi-17 has a pointed cockpit/windshield, but the Mi-8 has a rounded off cockpit
