- You may have travelled by train many times but never travelled in Train Engine. Here we take you to a train engine ride and show you a train engine, how does it look, what features it contains, what are the safety devices. How does a railway engine operate? How can railway be developed and railway journey be made safer?
Hafeez sahab my grandfather was from Rawalpindi.. during partition he shifted to delhi and set up business here. By the grace of god he regained everything which he had to leave in Pakistan...he always used to tell us about Rawalpindi whenever we insisted him. Once in my life I want to visit there and see the birth place of my grandfather, father, mamu and my mother....love from Delhi sir.

Very nice. In India also, loco driver should be given proper uniform. Loco cabin should be air-conditioned so that Loco driver will not get tired mentally and physically.
Who said there is no uniform provided for Loco Pilots in India?
All electric Loco after 2002 and WDP ,WDG series diesel Loco are air-conditioned.

Signalling system is pakistan is pretty old. I am not saying it in negative way. Just it is outdated. Tracks are also not in perfect condition. And I do agree with Loco Pilot that if tracks would be having some kind of protection to keep trespassers away trains will be more efficient. We face same problem in India, our people do have severe tendency to trespass on rail tracks. Nice video, try to cover other locomotives also as 2000 HP is just a small loco.
Check this system in 2022 all tracks and signals going to upgrade and average speed for each train is minimum 160kph which will increased to 200 kph
you are right we need to upgrade our Railway system and hopefully ML-1 project with all latest technology and trains tracks will start soon

Track upgrade is under process new coaches capable of 160 kph are arriving soon from China with TOT signals upgrade and level crossing modification under progress

Really liked the Locomotive Pilot's uniform and the cabin being air-conditioned.
These two should be considered by Indian Railway for their part.

We have air conditioned locomotives and dress code as well.
Our loco pilots also wear a uniform, But it's simpler. Although the fanciness of the uniform is redundant.
Some of the locomotives are air conditioned. But I don't think all the locomotives are air conditioned.
It should be voluntary. No one should be forced to wear uniforms.

Pak railways needs 100 pct upgrade. Looks very antique . Look at Indian railways so much modern , clean electrified tracks , stations like airports. 28 cities with metro trains , . 5000 super express trains etc etc
Instead of upgrading railway system our previous governments concentrate on motorways but after CPEC ML-1 project will change the whole system of Pakistan railway with latest technology tracks and rail cars
