Hi mum! So wonderful to see mum again, thanks for sharing her with us. Love the key fob too! We all make mistakes, thanks for sharing those too. Enjoy your visit!
I love you christine and your mama Hannah, you look to her with so much deep love. Thank you for your videos. Hugs from cologne to Australia 🇦🇺 to you christine and Hannah
What a great stash buster, even those little pieces of interfacing. I have trouble throwing those away. I make bags and I frequently add fleece or batting to the handles. They seem to look better and are more comfortable. I just slip in those little skinny strips in just like the stitch witchery. I make key fobs and lanyards just like this. I've never done the kind with two colors before. You know when you think way too hard on something...yep, thanks Christine and Hannah 😊❤
I make these & use the E6000 glue just to make sure it doesn't come apart. I like the contrast fabrics - I've never thought of making them that way. Always love your mums guest appearance, she's so cute! Happy Sewing ♥️ 🧵🪡
I love watching you and your mum. Just a suggestion I think it would make this project even easier. Cut two strips of fabric with the contrast fabric slightly narrower. With right sides together, line up long edge on one side and sew the long edge. Then line up the opposite side and sew down long edge. Then turn right side out and press so a little bit of the dark blue is peeking out either side. Not sure this makes sense but it does in this old chook’s head. ❤️
I try not to use E-6000 glue. Oh my goodness, it's like going to the moon without a rocket. I can get away with using basting spray in small amounts. Maybe I'm just more sensitive than others. 😊
Do you have a cricut machine , just out of interst . I am thinking of getting one but not sure which one to get . I ask as they do a heat machine like the one you showed . So I wondered if you have one of the main machines . Thanks for showing jet fog . Good idea. Hello mum heh someone like me I am still in feet and inches myself . Not always helpful
Mm well I did go and look at some yesterday, but as I mainly want it for appliqué work and material cutting , also as I do a lot of EPP work for accurately cutting templates etc . I am unsure if one is for me as they do do much , mind you I would enjoy doing some of the things I could do . But hobbycraft suggested for my use I would need to go to the top of the range ass elbow this the cutting blade wouldn’t be strong enough, mind you even with the one they suggest m I was advised you could need to buy a stronger blade . All the bits are very expensive really and you get no extras . All the bits you need , you have to buy. Even the cutting mats and colour pencils . So I will have to maybe think hard in this one as 500 English pounds is a lot to spend then buy other bits to getting you going onto top about another 150. I think it maybe worth seeing if anyone in u tube has one and their thoughts, so open verdict at the mo . I thought you would maybe be the lady to know l hehe . Oh do you get a free hat press with it m by spending. Ore than 70 pounds as a. Luck Friday deal .

Tshirts are cute..
haha, thanks Kip😁
Hi, Mom!
Hi Helen😀
The crease tools look good. Could they be used to mark sewing lines? For instance when Sewing corner to corner on the jar grippers?
I'm not sure how they'd go for jar grippers Sarah, but it might work or regular plain fabric😀
I try not to use E-6000 glue. Oh my goodness, it's like going to the moon without a rocket. I can get away with using basting spray in small amounts. Maybe I'm just more sensitive than others. 😊
Hi Christine! I have a German mum too! Going to try this out for Christmas gifting. Where do you get the metal key fobs from?
Debby, I've put an Amazon link in the description for the key fobs😁
Do you have a cricut machine , just out of interst . I am thinking of getting one but not sure which one to get . I ask as they do a heat machine like the one you showed . So I wondered if you have one of the main machines .
Thanks for showing jet fog . Good idea. Hello mum heh someone like me I am still in feet and inches myself . Not always helpful
I don't have one yet Karen. It's on my wish list though. I'll want to get one that cuts fabric and vinyl😁
Mm well I did go and look at some yesterday, but as I mainly want it for appliqué work and material cutting , also as I do a lot of EPP work for accurately cutting templates etc . I am unsure if one is for me as they do do much , mind you I would enjoy doing some of the things I could do . You could sew another contrast piece to cover the raw edges of the fob "mistake"!
That is a fabulous idea Kateri. Thank you😁
I saw a query somewhere from you about a sewing machine foot. I looked it up and saw it was a “button “ foot. Then I went back to reply but I lost it.
Thanks Johanne. That must have been the query from one of our Facebook members😁
Hi, another way to mark for .25" turn is to mark .5" and bring raw up and press. This will give you the .25" turn. 🪡✂️🧵
