I watch this video every time I'm prepping for a trip! My favorite travel tip is just one word: ELECTROLYTES! I take 1 electrolyte packet to add to my water for every day I fly -- as soon as I go through TSA, I fill up my water bottle (or buy one if I forgot), take a sip, add in the electrolyte packet, and shake it up! I make sure to drink at least that much water before I get to my destination. No more dry throat or dry skin from airplane air, no leg cramps, and best of all, I feel really fresh when I land so I can hit the ground running!
Hey Shelley can you consider a piece on difficult hotel situations, like how to handle menstrual incidents and sheets or hotel pool and spa etiquette. Thanks for considering love this channel
I always share a copy of my itinerary (and sometimes important docs depending on the trip) with my family -- both whomever I'm traveling with (especially boarding passes,) and someone back home. Also, having the app for whichever airline you're flying! You have another copy of your boarding pass right there, plus you can track the plane, any gate changes, and checked bags! Lastly, sunscreen POWDER -- the sun's rays are much stronger in the air, so I brush some on when we get on the plane!
Oh wow these are really great ideas Alexis! I did NOT know that about the sun, but it makes total sense. I’m going to pack a sunscreen powder in my tote 😉
Wow , a shout for me. Thank you. Feel so connected and welcomed in this community. Didn't know about luggage tracker. Thank you for this, a must have, I had my luggage lost ,most 😤
I love compression parking cubes, shoe bags, and a tote with compartments. If I check luggage I use a tracker and my second carry on is a leather backpack.
I'd love to have TSA pre-check, that would be such a game changer for me! Unfortunately in Europe we don't have an equivalent for that, or at least not at the airports I use. Or am I missing something 🤔
1. Always bring a refillable water bottle and fill it before getting on the plane in case you're stuck on the tarmac with nothing to drink. 2. Find multitaskers. Instead of a blanket, wear a long cardi on the plane. Want to pack an extra purse? Use it as a packing cube. 3. Try to replace liquids with solids (powder foundation, stick serum, etc.). 4. Get CLEAR in addition to PreCheck. This gets you to the front of the PreCheck line. 5. Ostrich has this little pillow that is meant to be handheld. It's tiny and saves your rear/back on flights.
1st of all.. How are you this beautiful? I've been asking this question each time you say "hey yall" 😘 I subscribed 3weeks back but first time commenting, I love the channel a lot😘 I haven't traveled anywhere outside my country south Africa😘but were taking our 1st international vacation with my sister's so this is very helpful, thank you🙏 I've always wondered thou, are the hotels safe really that safe? Has anyone ever lost anything in the safe? I'm very nervous about loosing my documents since we're traveling 1st time outside SA🤔
Welcome beautiful Pearl! I’m so happy that you found the video helpful - it’s why I do, what I do ;-). The safe in your hotel room is quite“safe” from the perspective that only you have the 4 or 6-digit code. They are usually heavy steel boxes, with a keypad. You enter your own 4-digit (usually) code, then the lock icon. Unless someone REALLY REALLY wants into your safe, and has heavy duty equipment to open it - rest easy. I’ve never ever had anything stolen from our hotel safe. Enjoy your sister trip! Those are the best 😉
Oh my goodness - planning a trip to Greece, Sicily, Amalfi coast ending in Rome October 11. I am going with my sweet forever friends in my ♠️♦️Bridge ♥️♣️ club. Just the four of us girls! We are going to have a blast!! So glad I found your channel. I'm learning a lot!! If anyone on your channel has been on a cruise of this sort - we're going on WindStar - please let me know any helpful tips!!😘 Oh, I do have a question. Of those that have cruised over in Europe or areas close by, did you check a suitcase? I still want to have plenty of pretty things for the hotels before and after.💕
@@AnnieParkerConfidential Hey there! I’m looking at the Cuyana tote. Do you like the 13” or 16” bag? Thanks so much for your channel! You’re gorgeous and a hoot!

Awesome tips - I especially love #1. I’ve never been stuck on the tarmac, so this is a great “think BEFORE it’s too late” 😉
I’m new love your ideas, Nita B.

Thanks!!
I love that tote and having the removable pouch could be used as a day clutch? If I forgot one? Or is it too big?
You could totally use it as a day clutch - assuming you like the larger clutch style, which many designers are doing right now 🥰
