- Welcome to the Embraer E175! I will draw on my 6 years of E175 experience and show you HOW THE PROS DO IT. Sixth episode, we are taking this bird into the sky at long last.

Thank you so much for these tutorials. I bought the E- Jets family for X plane and was looking for real life tutorials for a long time. Greetings from Germany
Enjoy the Embraer. It is a really good airplane. Very ergonomic flight deck and FMS. Sorry my explanations arent great since the Flight Sim Studios version is incomplete. I will update them when functionality improves.
Love your tutorials 🙏🙏 thanks again for your hard work with this 😀😀 its much appreciated 🙏🙏😁😁
Agreed,really great tutorial series.
Thanks guys. I am happy to know my work is enjoyed. Pity the Guidance Modes are a bit.of a disaster right now, but they should improve with the new FMS.
Hey man thx for your work , its gonna help me a lot..
Happy to hear it will go to good use.
@@CaptNabs Hello there , is there a difference between an e175 and e170 ? Im looking for buying posters to practice flows and check-lists and the 175 is double the price.
The primary difference between the 170 anf 175 is size. The 175 is a bit bigger and has another row of seats.
From the flight deck, the planes are identical as far as I know. Even the 190/195 are practically identical from a procedure perspective. My 175 type rating was completed on a 190 sim with an online differences course afterwards.
@@CaptNabs thx for the information , I should be a member of the club soon, that's why im asking.
Best of Luck!
I really like this plane.. 👨🏼✈️👍it is interesting but complex! So I'm looking for all the tutorials to help me use it well.Although I come from the world of aeronautics "I am 77 years old" I have lost my "English" a lot question? Is the "T/O config" to be used only once? Thanks
Sorry I missed this comment. You can press T/O Config as many times as you like. If you make a mistake and it starts yelling at you (for example, flaps at wrong position), you should press it again to be sure you hear "Takeoff OK" at least once prior to takeoff. There is nothing wrong with pushing it multiple times.
its like initial matrix sims all over again ahhhhhh
One question: what is the pitch attitude in real life in the E Jets? Also 10 degree? Most of the flight directors of other airliners tend to indicate 15 degrees pitch after lift off until the acc Alt.
The E175 operates very similar to most other jets in the takeoff phase. The pilot initially rotates the aircraft to 10degrees. After liftoff, you transition to following the flight directors. The flight directors do not target a pitch attitude, but a speed (V2+10 for all engines operating). This usually ends up being 12 to 15 degrees. There are upper and lower limits of 8 to 18 degrees for the takeoff phase, but the airplane is really targeting the speed V2+10. This gives maximum climb performance within a reasonable safety margin.
Thank you very much for the explanation. For the model in MSFS it is not implemented yet that the FD targets V2 plus 10, right? That got me confused.
Hi, I missed when the APU is turned off? this is before taxiing?
Yes. Mininum 30 seconds after last engine start. Since it's the last item on the After Start checklist, it is usually switched off at that time, unless it needed to stay on, like for a Packs Off takeoff.
A/T does no engage (light off) when pressing A/T button. Why could it be?
Does the white A/T indication appear on the PFD?
@@CaptNabs The FMA indicates "TO" when A/T button pushed down, but it does not illuminate in the FCU as it does in your video
@@CaptNabs I decided to give it a try and pushed the throttles to 40% N1 and then press TO/GA again. This time the A/T illuminated and it worked fine. I am not sure if I only had to push the throttles for ward an the A/T would automatically engage and illuminate on the FCU, or just push the throttle forward.
It seems to be the case. Push A/T once when lining up on observe TO in the FMA. Then throttle forward to 40% with brakes on, the push forward to TO/GA and A/T engages and it illuminates in the FCU. Thanks
soo how did u reset the aircraft ?
Back to main menu and reload the aircraft again.
