    My horrifying house story....
I used to work for my local health department that alone should prepare you.
We had a man who for 25 years bagged his “fecal material” and made them into little bricks and just stored them in his garage... oddly enough they didn’t smell but he asked if we could help him remove it?

Not particularly "horrifying" but a few years ago I was helping my dad work on my grandfather's house. The floor was sagging in the back part of the house, and we were going to remove the subfloor and replace. I was in the closet in the back bedroom, where the floor was really sinking down. I was removing junk from it and went through. It was then we realized the sinking was caused by the wood rotting because there was an uncovered well under the house. It was built in 1890 and had been expanded in the 30s, and they never bothered to cover the well. I missed going in by about 2 feet.

Oh man do I have a nightmare house flipping story for you.
We bought a house that had been abandoned for a couple of years to flip.
Turns out the people living there were the most disgusting puppy mill breeders I've ever seen or heard of. They had dog breeding cages(think stacked 2'x2' rabbit cages) all over the garage with about 6 inches of cemented dog crap on the floor of each of the cages.
They let a few of the dogs live inside of the house in one of the rooms. Nothing but cemented dog crap in there and in the bathroom it was piled so high it was about 2" below the rim of the toilet. No I'm not kidding.
They had a hole that lead to under the house in the kitchen. It had rotted out do to the skylight leaking. We found a decent sized grave where the people would literally just throw the adult dogs that died through the hole under the kitchen and let them rot/be eaten by all the rats under there.
Then we found five 2'x4' tubs in the garage. Any puppy's that were born stillborn or that died were placed in small baggies then put in those tubs. ALL FIVE TUBS WERE FULL.
    Absolutely horrifying and disgusting experience.

@@corrinjessen By layout, I am referring to support structure that make up part of the wall and partition to the second floor. If it was just a wall that's not connect to the main structure itself then it wouldn't be so bad.
Many kitchens are enlarged this way, but yes the money could be a factor too.

When me and my girlfriend bought our first house together it was a run down shack, the walls were peeling and it smelled gross, one room imparticular had a horrid smell inside of it. Me and my cousins finished fixing up the place but this odour stayed lingering. We sprayed everything we could and it wouldnt go, so we removed the floor boards and found 110oz of cocaine, hidden inside a dogs corpse wrapped in a banys gown, this corpse was rotting underneath our floorboards and it was being eaten by maggots, we had to literally redo the whole floor and walls to remove the death smell after the police finished collecting the drugs and the corpse.

Last and worst time I cleaned University apartments.
So, I was about 16 or 17 years young and I worked for a company that cleans the dorms at my local University. The day started out like any other, went to the office and got my supplies then hopped in the gold cart to head to my first building of the day, first building I got done in about 2 and a half to 3 hours but it was the second house that started the madness. I pulled up to the second house and immediately smelled death of some sort, I thought it was a raccoon or possum that died outside of a window or int he bushes, I got in and the smell got worse the higher up I got. I reached the top level and there was 1 room on top. I opened the door and was figuratively smacked in the face with the smell of 27 dead raccoons, 14 dead possums, maggots everywhere, and one of the room mates that was thought to have rage quit college and left.
I called my supervisor and he rushed over, along with the police, he rolled up as I was outside ejecting everything in my stomach that hasn't been digested. they both went up and came running back down coughing a gagging at the smell. About an hour later the coroner shows up and takes the body out as animal control shows up for the dead animals. About a week later my super tells me that the 1st room mate, the one that wasn't dead, was caught trying to drug and rape woman at one of many bars on campus and was arrested, he later confessed to killing his room mate along with all those animals that I found in that room.
I quit the next week and was given a hell of compensation for not only what happened but for 5 years of service.

    Fun math time!
The tiles are placed on the wall 11 high, a standard ceiling is 8', which means the tiles are 8.72 inches square.
The top of the sink is 3 tiles high, which is only 2 feet off the ground, you'd be bending over to get to a sink that only goes up to your knees...lol
Even more comedy? The toilet seat is only one tile high, so you'd be sitting down on a toilet thats 8 inches off the ground, which is about halfway up your shin...youd literally be sitting there with your knees at chest level.

So my family has several houses on lake texoma. Well one summer we went into one of the larger ones and there was a wasp nest legitimately 4' long in one of the interior walls. The house hummed and buzzed and you could hear the horror from several feet away. When the door was opened to through some bug gas grenades in there a thick swarm of flying demons swarmed my uncle. He was hospitalized with over 200 stings. 20, yes 20 gas bombs later they were mostly all dead. The entire wall had to be torn down. It was burned in a large bonfire. Apparently tho, the nest had pheromones on it. So all around the house the next week were yet thousands more of wasps, but not just wasps, several other hornets and yellow jacket attempted to coup the building and take over. It was a week of having to wear thick clothing and being terrified to walk outside. God forbid go anywhere within 100 meters of that house.

A dealer told me about a house for sale. He said the person that lived there before disappeared. The next morning I went to the bathroom, and found a bloody knife behind the toilet. I went to next door neighbors and told him about it. He said that i accidentally left the door unlocked. So he thought he would play a prank on me and put fake blood on a plastic knife and put it into my house. The funny things is, I found the one he was talking about in the kitchen.

Before you bought the house, your wallet was 6,176 bucks. Ater you sold it, your wallet was 6,141 bucks. So your real profit was -25 Dollar ;) Nevertheless thumbs up, nice Video :)
The major fails of the game are:
    - it increases the housevalue only in same height like you pay for furniture. So if you buy as example a bed for 150 $, your wallet shrinks about exactly 150 $ and the housevalue raises about exactly 150 $. Profit for furnituring is +/- 0 $
    - it increases the housevalue only for buying paintbuckets or tiles. Not for the tiling- and painting-work.
    - the only and real profit you can make is by repairing outlets. But only because the fact, that you have not to pay for the replacement-outlet ^^
The Developers must change the Value-calculation, or this game is free of sense.
They should change it in this way, that the housevalue increases for every stripe which you are tiling or painting.
Or they should include a valuegrade for paints and tiles: 1-star, 2-star and 3-star paints and tiles. If a wall is already painted or tiled, and you want renew it, the housevalue should increase depending on which grade of new tiles or paint you use.
    Examples:
    - A wall has already 2-star tiles and you replace them with another 2-star tiles, the housevalue should increase at least about 50% from the tilesvalue, for each package you are tiling.
    - A wall has already 2-star tiles and you replace them with 3-star tiles, the housevalue should increase about 300% from *the added* tilesvalue, for each package you are tiling.
    Same for painting and furnituring.
Something like this. Or the Game will make no sense :)

Real Estate Appraisal in Dade City, FL.
Landlord and renter got into arguement about whatever. Renter is construction guy, roads.
He took a jack hammer, hammered a hole in the foundation every meter and all the way down, stopped up all the drains, turned on the water, ripped out all the interior walls and appliances including supports.
The horror? He ripped the toilet out so the water that filled the house was mixed with city sewer water.
I called the landlord and told him it not only didn't have value, it actually now had negative value bc of the biohazard and he said the city had already issued him multiple fines.
And all that bc him and the renter got into an arguement.
Moral of the story: Don't piss of guys in construction bc they have access to power tools and can literally dismantle your life or property. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I lived with my BF in his dad's house in Daytona Beach, FL. It could have been nice if it was fixed up, but his dad liked to smoke his money in the form of weed. There were possums in the attic, where we slept since it was converted to a loft. Ants would swarm anything left on the counter for more than five seconds, and the roaches would not only get into your shoes, but you could hear them chewing through cans in the pantry. The bathroom would only be clean if you used a flamethrower. There was no AC. And this was all during the massive wildfires of 1998.

    Horrifying House Story.
So, We were going to my granpa's abandoned house to clean it out. There are dirt everywhere (obviously), so we cleaned the house pretty much. And in the attic, oh, the smell. So we went in and as I took the first step on a rotting floor board, it breaks and I as soon as it breaks, all hell breaks loose and a million mice and rats come running out of it and I basically destroyed the attic floor running out of the hell-hole.

my brother flips houses for a living, and we have seen some crazy stuff in the 5 years we've been doing this lol. Craziest thing I seen was a drug dealer squatter, once we finally were able to get this guy out of this house we went in to demo the house and all we found were a bunch of scales, empty baggies, and even some left over drugs. We reported it all to the police and they said they were watching this house for a while too.. the entire neighborhood loved us after we redid that house. lol

House Story! : I had some *ahem!* friends when I was a kid. They lived in a house that was barely standing. It was tilting and they had to move before it fell. The mother was a crazy cat lady and the entire property (not just the house) was saturated in decades worth of cat piss. There were holes in the floor of the second story so you could look down or jump down into the rooms below. They were also hoarders. And they had young children. They moved into a giant, brand new house that was twice as large as anything I had ever lived in. And from day one, started to turn it into yet another piss-soaked, animal-hoarded, junk-packed, palace of safety and health hazards. And of course, no maintance was performed for the next 12 years I knew them. Legend has it, somewhere in New England, that house is still crying out to be knocked down like it's brother before it. "Killllll meeeeeeeeee", it screams into the night....

    I have a house story:
So sometimes I’m left alone rarely though since I have an older sister but rarely so this time it was like 9:30 PM 30 minutes till my mum came home and I was playing sims 4 and I heard footsteps downstairs I thought my dad came home from the shop so I shouted from my room which is beside the top of the stairs “Dad! Is that you?” No response so I asked again “Dad is that you?!” He didn’t usually ignore me he usually saids “Yes” or “Hello” but I heard him shut the door then nothing.
I thought it was strange so I went downstairs to check but at the top of the stairs I heard footsteps again but we have squeaky doors I shut all the doors when they left he couldn’t have come out the dinning room (where our front door is) without me hearing the door squeak so I was getting concerned and I was using a knife for something I think I cut chopping something (probably fruit) it was a wide, sharp kitchen knife so I picked it up and turned on the downstairs light from the upstairs hall and walked down the stairs, all the doors were shut and I was left confused.
I know I heard the footsteps and the front door open my cat heard it to she was on the bed with me so I couldn’t have imagined it so I was gonna ask mum or dad about it when they got home and went back upstairs.
About 5 minutes later (9:40) I was playing sims again and again, footsteps. I was getting annoyed I thought my sister was playing some stupid joke so in a annoyed voice shouted from my room for her to stop but they didn’t stop so I went to check again and checked whole of downstairs all doors shut nobody home then.. my dad and sister just came in and said hello. I WAS SO CONFUSED IF NOBODY WAS HOME WHAT WAS MAKING FOOTSTEPS???!!!
I have another story it’s short tho so I was on a call with my friend Marnie and I was walking down the hall and we had an attic door above the hall and nobody usually goes up there but it was slightly open told Marnie it was kinda weird so I asked mum “Hey mum why did dad open the attic?” (Dads the only one who goes in the attic) and she said he didn’t so I assumed it was the wind and like 30 minutes later I was still talking to Marnie and the attic just opened the door went straight up and stayed up it wasn’t connected to the floor it was just some wood square and it wasn’t even windy we never found out what happened 😅

This is just a quick tip from someone with OCD, we are not all perfectionists. OCD or "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" is when you suffer from dark compulsive thoughts going from things that aren't that bad to things that can cause crippling anxiety.
Think of the worst thing you can think of.
Imagine that being told at you all the time every day without stopping or medication of some sort.
    Yeah. Bad.

    My house story:
My husband and I were looking at houses and almost put an offer on this house we really loved until we saw the basement. The walls by stairs to get to the basement were plastered in pictures of Satan eating children and in the basement was a shrine and cobwebs so thick you couldn’t even see through them. Then in the middle of the tour, two random creepy people came in claiming they were friends of the house owners, looked at the carpet, took part of it up, and left. We are about to close on a much smaller and updated house but in a better location and neighborhood.

try to sell everything in house someone wants you to change (not one you buy) and destroy all walls - you still make proffit for selling stuff they had ;d

Grey you should get some more money before you buy a house because then you can decorate it even more. You had only about over a thousand and.. it doesnt go very well after that. You need like a 5 thousand more yo make it good. PS. You are the greatest and greyest youtuber

Actually patrick it's a common symptom, though definitely not enough for diagnosis or found in everyone with ADHD. But yeah me and my mum definitely do this. Me with cleaning and writing mostly, my mum always has multiple renovations and craft projects going. Took her 10 years to finish the last task of upstairs renovation, installing the handrail for the stairs.
But she can also be the opposite, knitting 12 pairs of socks in 2 weeks to need carpal tunnel surgery and do a 1000 piece puzzle in 26 hours.

Maybe more ADD? ADHD is hyper focusing on one thing when ADD is focusing on a lot of things

    • @MilnaAlen
      @MilnaAlen 3 года назад +1

@@Estrella_Dawn Nope, ADHD has hyperactivity (and possibly impulsivity) whereas ADD is mainly inattentive. Both types can, and often do, have both hyperfocus and switching between tasks

House story: About a year ago I bought a new house and, about a week or 2 in there was A BUG INFESTATION like at least 4 different species of bug. It took 2 months to get rid of them. I barely slept in those 2 months. It was scary. That was my story 😶

    Horrific house story-
So I when I was a little girl I lived in southern Illinois in a small town and so we lived on a Indian burial ground, it wasn’t a big house it was a a little small white house on a hill and my grandparents were pastors Or were very into Christianity and so they always told us to get out a house they sensed something evil. So we got the house staged and my mom kept these Indian pictures that we still have today and every day I remember the Indian pictures moving, shacking or even falling down. I was pretty spooked at the time but since we were very humble people we didn’t get any bad vibes and so couple years later we moved to Kansas and they started tearing the house down and my friends dad that was rebuilding the house found bones and skeletons of Indians built inside of the wall and in the basement were caskets of Indians with the full body which is crazy because the people that built the house they just built over all of the Indians.

Used to clean out and board up foreclosed houses after the 2008 housing crisis, I feel you on the maggots. The upside was that we found a lot of junk that got resold on eBay, a bunch of burned out TVs to smash, and TONS of decent porn. The downside was dead animals, used needles, scary homeless people, and The Fridge.
Now The Fridge was in a pretty nice house aside from The Fridge. It had been foreclosed on 6 or so months earlier. The owners had just up and left everything there, including The Fridge. We were loading up the trailer with everything too big to store long enough to sell off and then the worst thing you could possibly imagine happened. The Fridge came open. Ordinarily this wouldn't be that big of a deal, except for one simple problem. It was full. Now when I say full I mean just got home from the grocery store on payday full. And it was rotten. I was over 100 feet away and instantly gagged from the smell. The guy who was standing next to The Fridge was so overwhelmed that he actually passed out. A couple of the neighbors came out to complain, and they just threw up in the street. We managed to close the door to The Fridge, but not before the sludge leaked out. We put a strap around The Fridge, and left it strapped closed when we tossed it in the dump. When we returned the trailer 3 days later, it still reeked. Needless to say we did not get our security deposit back for the trailer, and that was the week we quit.
I'm actually a little nauseous just from thinking about it.
    tl;dr
Very full fridge with no power for 6 months opened, a guy passed out from the smell, and we quit.
