Ubisoft just have to remember what Ghost Recon is. The next GR game should be a squad based tactical military shooter. Its that simple.
Go deeper into gathering intel, interrogations, bugging target communications, sabotaging, blending in with civilians, breaching and obviously squad controls.

Honestly... I love the concept of ghost experience... Where you customise on how realisting the game you want to be... I get overwhelmed by the highest difficulty I feel like it's too hard (skill issue fr) so I kinda modified the game to still be playable for me (skill issue)

For me, maybe the best ideas for the next Ghost Recon game are: improving the gameplay from Wildlands, bringing back that Breakpoint did well, returning game mechanics and gear from past games like Advanced Warfighter and Future Soldier, and introducing new features (both realistic and near tech features). Having more than one faction to fight against or receive support, and improving the Conquest Mode to be more complex and responsive to any action we take. I would like to see a more responsive CrossCom, depending of the situation or events our CrossCom can be damaged or also destroyed (if you have HUD turned on), as it happened before in Future Soldier and Wildlands Fallen Ghosts dlc. And I would love having back the drone multi-terrain from Future Soldier.

I like the Raids but I agree that the behemoths breaks the experience and the AI should be actually competent.
Instead of drones, I think Ubisoft should add something akin to Hunters from Division as bosses just without the bullet sponginess.
They have the best movements in any ubisoft game cause they actually fight like a player. Fast cover to cover, constant emp and stun grenades, uses syringe.
Walker was actually decent, my first bout with him was hard and he was slippery. If only the rest of the Wolves actually mimic how he fought. Just without the drone shields.

I honestly would not mind if they went full realistic almost death stranding level where the heavier you are the slower you move and turn, you need to watch your fatigue and expand the injury system to make it more like Tarkov, IFAKs for most injuries maybe splints and surgery kits too. Good enemy a.i that tests your abilities, the division 2 already has pretty good a.i. that flank you and hold positions forcing you to push or nade them to get them off angles. I actually thought the premise of breakpoint was really cool, a special forces team stranded in a hostile environment with no help from command forced to fight and loot just to survive, but it was very poorly executed. Ubisoft has the talent and tech to make a open world tactical shooter that could rival the best of them, and it seems like the GR dev team clearly have interest in making a more grounded and realistic experience. Ubisoft saw breakpoints reviews and horrible sales and they definitely know now what the people want, it's up to them whether they want to kill this franchise or revive it into something great.

The answer to the question you posed in the thumbnail is: YES. Ghost Recon should absolutely be a Tier One simulator. It should function as close to real world as game technology allows. We're expecting at least one AAA studio to honor the truth in verified Special Warfare tactical combat capabilities, using the best industry practices and know-how permissible in mainstream media. If a Chinese company can re-create the Delta Force brand, then we sure as hell should be able to play up to current capabilities that we would see in Modern Warfare III.
Essentially, we should have an open-ended Modern Warfare III graphical capability with Ground Branch like mechanics, a hardcore focus on authentic, real world-themed combat in titles such as Arma III, Squad, Sniper Contracts II, and the upcoming Direct Action with the openness of Wildlands leading to training simulators like Project IM as representative of its ultimate evolution in full spectrum gameplay variety.

I’ve taken the survey and I hope that Ubisoft listens and implements the ideas put forward and I would love a tier one fantasy simulator for the next game and maybe it could also feature different tier one units from different countries that you could play as instead of just the ghosts as well as DEVGRU delta rangers force recon and marsoc marines etc because I’ve started to play the game on extreme difficulty (and playing operation motherland again) and I’m finding it more thrilling and exciting and challenging because it makes you think and act tactically like a tier one operator and yes I agree no more robotic tanks or behemoths or flying drones instead replace them with actual armored vehicles plus make the enemy regular infantry soldiers instead of mercenaries who move and fight like infantry and if they can’t handle your team then call in their tier one elite unit anyway that was a great video and I completely agree with you 👍😊

I think it would be great if they gave the player control over how immersive they want their experience to be, if someone wants a more sim experience they can configures things like how many magazines you can carry at once etc... if someone wants a more arcade shooter experience they can enable things like unlimited sprinting. I'd still want a 3rd person open world tactical shooter with a very strong foundation: solid moving, shooting, and cover mechanics first and foremost, then decent enemy AI, tons of different AI reactions to getting shot (limping, taking cover, spinning around and falling, stumbling) , no bullet sponginess! , just a little bit more gory details of enemies getting shot depending on where they're hit. If the publisher decides to go more sim-like, then they should add real world missions like training a partner/indigenous force, then as you train them you get more support, and more areas as you take back territory, you'd have to operate out of safehouses and can even be run out of safehouses or attacked if you're compromised. So many possibilities in an open world game, you can have so many areas of operations to travel to, different maps, just make sure it also has a good endgame, co-op PVE, things to do, plenty of enemies to fight, and fun mission rotations.

Bro, everything you said was reasonable, entertaining, and easy to agree with. I personally feel like I need to highlight the use of prior service military members for the application of weapons, equipment, CQC animations, etc. in the next Ghost Recon, regardless of what direction of gameplay the developers push. And of course I also have to support the optional “creator mode” application idea. That additional “parameter” or opportunity, in addition to the main story and other events, would ensure players could easily continue to enjoy the game with maximum control of how they want to play it, regardless of whether or not they enjoyed the primary story or originally implemented missions.

I think most hardcore GR players will like this as well, I'd imagine most of us are not only aware of what Tier 1 operators are but appreciate them greatly. As far as the game itself, I don't think it would be that hard to lean in to the much more realistic side of things, games like SOCOM Navy SEALs did it back in the day, sure the games super old so "realism" is a bit much, but still. I think that having enemy spec ops teams would be awesome, though they would have to work the AI enough that they aren’t always the top dogs. My favorite thing about switching directly from wild lands to breakpoint was a went from being top dog in Bolivia to all the sudden I’m running for my life and trying to figure out the new landscape and enemies. And after 200 hours I am back to feeling like top dog again and rightfully so with full upgrades, drones and everything else I have built up. I now task myself with trying to hunt down wolves staying undetected and doing base takedowns. I would love to be scared for my life for a while because of a superior enemy force but after a while I need to be able to hunt them down like they did me 😅 more human AI enemies with different ranges of brains would be amazing. I do wish they would also work on the teammate AI… when I am sneaking into a building on the other side of the wall from an enemy and my teammate just casually strolls right in front of him it kind of ruins the realism

The next ghost recon should literally be a better pubg. It should have 8 to 10 smaller maps instead of just one giant maps taking place all over the world for different biomes. It should have a seamless first to third person switching with the ability to lean and tilt in first person and third from standing to kneeling to rolling on your side in prone. It should have the ability to throw on gillie suits back backs helmets armor gear scuba tanks. There should be the ability to go under water and actually swim up on enemies. It should focus on destructible environments. C4 houses. Doors blow up walls burn down houses. It should have true dark with night vision you actually have to use to see anything it’s so dark. The guns should be loud AF and sound real. The game should have you dropped into different maps to destabilize and take over territories and kill high priority targets and have a aircraft carrier that pulls up off shore as a primary command base to resupply heal teammates and bring rescued or captured targets too. You could have a whole campaign broken up across all these maps and then turn around and run multiplayer battle royal and extraction shooters on the same maps for replay ability. You could have a whole map act as a dark zone and that’s how you extract and unlock new weapons and weapons attachments for your gear. The more possibilities of what you can do in a sandbox adds to the possibilities of what can happen and would just be so incredibly fun.

If the game really did reflect tier 1 tactics it'll probably be quite a dull game. For instance missions where you hack a server while awaiting enemy reinforcements only to find them turning up within five seconds is ridiculous. You would have to wait half an hour at least for it to be realistic.
The new game needs to be a complete upgrade from Wildlands or Breakpoint. Getting teammates into a chopper while under fire but watching them standing there as if they've never seen a helo before while the enemy closes in is unacceptable and obviously unrealistic. In this game you're hardly ever more than a hundred metres from an enemy patrol or vehicle. That has to stop. If you really want to simulate a tier 1 world there are a multitude of things that need correcting. The enemy runs too fast it isn't realistic,
They can climb slopes at a run that you just slide down, the enemy ground vehicles stick strictly to the roads and never chase you off road why FFS? They are off road vehicles!
You can't have realism with the visual resolution of the last two games. Enemy soldiers apparently out in the open but actually hiding behind invisible walls or shipping containers. That has to be sorted out. Get rid of the "two headshots to kill" heavies for Christ sake even with missiles you need two headshots to take them down!
Definitely, definitely no more behemoths or drones I bought Breakpoint not Star Bores!
If you want realism then Ubisoft have to get their fingers out and make it realistic. I don't relish the idea of playing a mission for 30 minutes or so just to fail or die because the game mechanics are crap.
    A question.
Has anybody killed all their behemoths over the last couple of months and not had then respawn?
I have. I'd got used to flying around without any worries of SAM's until two days ago then BLAM! I'm heading for the deck in a flaming chopper because they've all come back! Anyone?😊

What's more important is the storyline. That is how Tom Clancy made/wrote his books. Also, Ghost Recon is ABOUT the DELTA Force. It is literally an entire game/books based them. For obvious reasons, the military would NEVER want too much of their tactics in a game! Come on now!! We have enemies all over the world, so that would be foolish. I think some people are wanting/asking for too much. If you want to be a Tier 1 operator, then join the service and work your ass off and be one. I love Ghost Recon, but this is a bit too far.
I'm all for more/better gun play and customization for the characters and weapons. But to focus too much on real life Tier 1 operations would be like telling enemies of NATO countries what we have in our arsenals and what our capabilities are....

That is my perfect ghost recon. For me ghost recon has never been my hardcore realistic tactical shooter, I look towards games like Ready or Not, Ground Branch or Zero Hour for that. Ghost recon to me (specifically wildlands) is the escape from the hardcore shooter, into something more accessible, more relaxed and more fun with friends. I'm not saying i don't want to see more realistic features being added but I don't want a Ground Branch from Ghost Recon, I want Ghost Recon from Ghost Recon (if that makes any sense at all)

I respectfully disagree with the open world aspect.
Semi Open world with different infil options and the ability to plan infil points and exfil points on a large but multiple different maps across the world makes the most sense to me, as opposed to one extremely large map.
Metal Gear Solid 5 did this excellently.
You'd be able to infil and exfil via different points of the map via helicopter etc
It made fast traveling more immersive too.
Ghost recon is supposed to be based off real world Delta Force/ ranger reconnaissance/ SF ODA type units and If u know anything about SOF you'd know that those units mission sets even tho similar at points are vastly different.
I think they can borrow the world traveling and narrative aspect of future soldier with the semi open world aspect of MGSV with different types of missions that focus on SOF realistic mission types
    Reconnaissance missions
    Direct action missions
    Hostage rescue missions
    Unconventional warfare missions
Hell, wildlands was heavy on the specific mission carried out by the Green Berets (SF ODA) which involved training one faction in guerilla warfare against to other factions.
So if ubisoft can pull a rabbit out of their ass and make a narrative driven semi open world multi location tactical game that focuses on a team of operators going against bad guys with different missions focusing on different type of warfare...🎉
    You'd have a winner

well I think the Ghost should be the elite of the tier one units, a small highly effective squad. That "fantasy" approach sounds good to me, if it is as you mentioned in a playable realistic approach. With missions regenerate with procedural randomness, where AI enemies deploy and patrol differently. And yes 100%, if they want to make it realistic, they need some real world operators as "supervisors" it will not work if those "80's punk rock fantasy creators" creatively create their "vision" of what a tier one operator is doing...

I feel like a broken record here but ghost recon games aren't tactical shooters since they're 3rd person. What it is, is a badass simulator. You get to live like an action hero. Less shooty shoot and more hidey hide.

The first ghost recon was a tactical shooter
Along with the PC version of Advanced Warfighter

Breakpoint's bases were too empty. We need more challenging base clearing.

The answer is yes it should be a tier 1 fantasy in terms of weapon customization, vehicle customization, operator customization, movement, communication, mission design, and tactics. You mentioned insertion which was a big problem for me in breakpoint. Sending 30 ghosts bumbling in on helicopters was the worst design I’ve ever seen. They were flying into an unknown and decided to make themselves visible, nobody infiltrated by a submarine, HALO Jumps, etc. I don’t claim to be a expert, but that stuck out as ridiculous right away.
Then they need to have people writing the script who actually like the game, and the lore. No more “ purple people eaters” as Gmoney described who in reality hate the game, the franchise, the US military, and western civilization. Give me the kind of people who would battlefield 3 and 4.
The enemy absolutely refused to press any advantages in ghost, recon, wildlands or breakpoint. You see scores of helicopters and APCs around but they are rarely used. The AI needs to be better across-the-board, and the enemy needs to appear threatening.
The first thing that needs to go next game is having to get skill points to unlock your under barrel grenade launcher, NVGs, or thermals. The premise of this game is that this is the best special operations unit in the world with the best equipment and they don’t even have standard issue gear going in.
I understand the AAA appeal argument and your right it has to appeal to everyone but at the very least it has to appeal to someone.

It would awesome to see but honestly I believe it will not happen ever. Ubisoft will kneel to the biddings of the current run n gun blanket cover rip off of other games than actually putting out a game they as in ubisoft can say is 100% created by their creativity. I for see if they tried this they will nurf the hell out of everything down to everything we asked for or suggested. I honestly don't think they learned a dam thing from these past yrs that's my opinion but like always brother great video
Side note if they did just that as you put in the video I'll kiss ubisofts ass

@@BulletCatcherGaming yes: A new world but in Russia. With Breakpoint mechanics except you have all the US gear unlocked and high tech stealth camo like in future soldier. Only deployable drone. No robots or stupid drone like in breakpoint.
Set year would be 2025. Russian Civil war 2. Ghost vs radical Russian separatists and bodarks. And rather then an island you have City and Urban environments. That would be really cool. Also make sync shot count down mode so in multiplayer we know we fired at the same time. Ran into that playing breakpoint today.

The most closest thing to what fans want from a GR is what's already there in a mod on ARMA 3 called Antistasi, the scenario is we're rebels trying to take our country back from the govt. and fending off an external invasion plus internal rival rebel factions; this scenario can be modified to the Ghosts providing support to said rebel faction to retake their country. Gameplaywise the elements of Antistasi is perfect for GR

Absolute yes on the T1 fantasy! But it will never happen as it will alienate the casuals from Ghost Recon., and we know what Ubisoft has turned into. They seem to prioritize mass profits. I see this idea happening more from an indi developer or someone like the team behind ARMA., someone who is extremely passionate about this stuff and will not sacrifice its direction for profits.
