He is the definitive Werther for me, sensitive, nuanced, beautiful and vocally sublime. This performance stayed with me.
He is Werther!!! Benissim!! Bravissimo!!!
he's amazing!!
Grandiose 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I have this DVD and I am drawn so often to put it on my TV to hear and see “him”/ to live through this opera and to enjoy his dramatic divine voice and his being not playing Werther, being witness of this drama!
Juan Diego Florez! You are the greatest tenor on earth!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️🇵🇪❤️🎉
I miss him in Rossini.
great
Amazing
Wonderful! (Bring back the period costume and sets!)
Absolutely amazing 🤗😀 I hope to release an album soon. I don't know what happened with his Verdi Album with Sony Classical.🤔
Pushing his instrument way past its natural limits.
I have never seen to Anna Stéphany. But she is amazing
Awesome performance and acting!
Goethe creó a Werther en el imaginario literario, pero Juan Diego le trajo a la vida.
마스네 베르테르 봄바람이여 왜 내 잠을깨우는가
Great singing ! Ridiculous staging !
No nos ganan!
Why is he shouting? That is NOT forte singing, that is shouting.
Maybe an octave interval on a Bb can be hard to perform, depending on the size of the hall/opéra/scène/orchestra he's performing in, his health (sore throat or anything, gotta push more for thé vocal chords to work), and the number of représentations he's been doing this same week. He's usually more light with his voice, so if he did it that way, there must be a reason.
@@maxlowson7711 he is singing a role unsuitable for his voice, it's as simple as that. A "tenore leggero" should NOT sing Massenet's "Werther".
@@indeserto an artist plays or sing whatever he wants. If you only seek for your own satisfaction and only want to ear what you expect to ear, just listen to your favorite album. I'm tired of overdone Fake outrage positions and snobism in classical music.
