I feel like the saddest part to this song is the instrumental like the loss of innocence that it sounds like when the vocals fade out at first it's heavenly and slightly blissful, and it does make you think about the series going onwards. With Andy witnessing all of Chucky's first death, no one isn't going to believe him but the ones who were there to witness it with him. And that was his mother and the officer, which of whom I assume got taken away after the credits and events that hinted towards child's play two with him in foster care. And that's probably why I like it, while I love the other movies especially when Chucky went more for comedy the first film gave a feeling of tragedy and that there's no happy ending to it all.
I really didnt think that highly of the child's play movies for a while, until i sat down more recently to watch the original for the first time in years. I enjoyed the movie yes, but wasnt blown away, and then the credits start rolling. I bursted into fucking tears as the credits rolled, the music was so beautiful and emotional and captured what made the story of the movie so heartwrenching. Love this movie.
I always considered the first movie, as a conclusive one, with no relation to the others. The MGM´s Chucky is different compared to the one appearing in the Universal movies.
This song evokes a sense of innocence being lost due to a horrific event. You know that even though Andy made it out alive, he is probably badly damaged from all the horrific things he saw.The freeze frame in the end of Andy looking at Chucky through the almost-closed door was supposed to indicate - that this was an experience that would haunt him for the rest of his life
How the theme has a blissful, almost heavenly and ethereal, vibe while also telling you what would become of Andy's life from that point on because of Chucky.
This made me want to list them for some reason: Child’s Play Child’s Play 2 Curse of Chucky Bride of Chucky Child’s play 3 Seed of Chucky Cult of Chucky
I agree almost 100%, i may have child's play 2 just barely edging out the original and child's play 3 and bride of chucky might be flipped but yeah, great list
The themes are the only good part of the 7 original films! To me, anyway. But, I would say that my Least to Greatest of all 8 films, is: 8. Bride Of Chucky 7. Curse Of Chucky 6. Child's Play 3 5. Child's Play 2 4. Cult Of Chucky 3. Child's Play (1988 Original) 2. Seed Of Chucky 1. Child's Play (REMAKE!)
I like this song for how industrial sounding it is and its mixed with a theme that you would hear in slasher themes and a commercial for the toys all in one
Dude , it's so sad when you remember that Karen gave all money she has just to see her son happy and Andy's favorite toy tried to kill him, that makes me sad
@@Minillus I was referring to the Lore of FNAF, that’s why I put that comment. You know the amount of things that have happened because of William afton????

La música refleja a la perfección la inocencia de Andy, la tragedia y el trauma que tuvo que enfrentar debido a Chucky. Es una melodía que transmite un final agridulce y desalentadora, pues la pesadilla apenas iba a comenzar...

I’m writing a script for a fan film. It’s titled Child’s Play and It’s if I made the original child’s play movie. The story is almost completely different and has a couple of twists. I’m excited to finish and hopefully get permission from MGM and Universal to film it.

At the end of "chucky", all his victims, andy, kyle, nica, lexy, devon, and jake should all kill him together and this should just play as it zooms out of the scene.
Idk if it’s just me and sending weird tones, but has anyone else notice some old movies like this seem like a lower pitch or something? I swear the notes were higher than this.
IMO, because The Rest of the movies are owned by Universal….They are non-Canon and I heard that Tom Holland wanted there to be no sequels. So Only Child’s play 1 happens IMO.

I said: the REMAKE is better than the other 7! Brad Dourif doesn't know what he's doing anymore. The original film was bullshit! The 2nd was the 1st all over again. The 3rd was un-fucking-necessary, the 4th had Chucky annoying the audience more than just the characters, the 5th had Tiffany being annoying as hell and Glen never getting to do anything at all, the 6th wasn't even scary, it had no plot, no likeable characters, and Chucky was barely in it, and there was no curse! The 7th was the most unbelievable copout I have ever seen! The multiple Chucky aspect. They were so annoying, I wanted to take dynamite and blow out my eardrums! And Brad Dourif's voice! It sounded so scratchy! It was awful! Don Mancini? More like DUMB Mancini if he can botch 7 movies in a 31 year time span! The remake did everything right! It made Chucky scary, it had better character development, Chucky was voiced by a much better actor, (Mark Hamill), and Chucky got more personality. That's what the other films didn't get. If u wanna do a horror film, then give your villain some fucking personality! Chucky viewed the world as being too hazardous for his relationship with Andy. And Andy wasn't an annoying shithead this time! Gabriel Bateman knew exactly how to act. Chucky was given more feeling. He began obsessing over Andy after Chucky was shut out from him. It makes sense to me. Why does everyone else say this is a bad remake? I hate Don Mancini for what he did! I don't care about the original series, and I don't care about the tv show! It's a horrible excuse for a horror series!
@Domballa Studios Thank you for saying that I should be a comedian! That's actually been my dream since I was 7! That is awesome that someone is telling me that I should follow my dreams. That just made my night right there.
