TSM Lebbia - the original score should be available to download free at sites such as IMLSP as it is no longer under copyright. However, it is possible that Ms Petri has substantially reworked this piece as she does that (she is currently working on a re-imagining/rewriting of Bach's solo Cello works for recorder). Good luck - I have loads of stuff from IMLSP such as the Telemann canonic sonatas - it's a good source. Just type in free sheet music Corelli "La Follia", download, print and enjoy!!
You can also check the German site: www.kreuznacherdiakonie.de/ueber-uns/gemeinschaften/diakoniegemeinde/kantoreiarchiv/ You can find quite some sheet music there, even though I find the listing order somewhat confusing... Anyway, as for La Follia, here's the sheet music for the alto recorder only: www.kreuznacherdiakonie.de/fileadmin/redaktion/kantoreiarchiv/Recorder_Flauti/solo_basso_continuo/variata/corelli_follia/fl.pdf And here's the link for the recorder/harpsichord sheet: www.kreuznacherdiakonie.de/fileadmin/redaktion/kantoreiarchiv/Recorder_Flauti/solo_basso_continuo/variata/corelli_follia/cem_part_4.pdf
OMG -- Ms. Petri is truly a virtuosa, although I wish that she would wear a nice outfit, something with pleasing color and style and a flattering hem length.
I am here for music NOT a fashion show. She looks great and wearing something comfortable. Bravo to Maestra Petra. There is a first for all and she plays like a goddess.
It's actually a great piece, with La Folia having a great musical history with many great composers using this framework. Actually this is one of Michala Petri's most tonally perfect performances. Not sure what you missed.@@jaysparc Someone said the performance was "boring." Rather than be perjorative, I tried to explain what/why a listening might find it "boring" in psychiatric neutral terms. Brahm's Paganini variations might be "boring" in the same way in that a strong persistence theme continues over and over in permutations. This is actually a central and soulful part of great music (holding thematic content regardless of permutation). I actually play this piece quite often in my performances.
@@wmewan2711I am not criticizing the piece, it's Petri's boring and uninteresting playing of the recorder. Tonally perfect? what does that mean. Your just spouting the nonsense of someone that has no clue about baroque interpretation or the capabilities of the recorder in the hands of a competent musician. I bet you think Flight of the Bumblebee is a great piece of music.
What a great sound! The singing tone as well as the quick passages are always present!
Always Loved Michale Petri. and adore this piece.
페트리의 라폴리아를 처음 들은 이래 30년넘게 이곡은 리코더로 듣게 됩니다
바로크 리코더의 매력을 알게해준 그녀. 언제들어도 좋네요.
너무 신비하고도 청량합니다.
Lovely, as always from Michala. Great performance and music.

Clavecin inaudible !
I know this in a version played by Frans Brüggen, I thought he was the best...but I think YOU are now....
Tremendously boring.
La Folia can translates into "insanity." I guess that part you understood well.
@@wmewan2711 if you don't know why it's not good, that's on you goofus.
