I love this product. It brought my hair back to life. The fact that rice bran is a main ingredient.. it makes sense, as it soaks up and stores so much moisture. Just like how rice is cooked, it absorbs water/moisture.. same goes for hair. Miracle ingredient!
Milks and leave-ins have different textures (leave-ins usually are more of a true conditioner consistency and milks look like milk or lotion). The moisture factor of the products vary by individual product and their formulations.
I got this yesterday and I love it, I did the big chop 3 weeks ago (I have like 2 inches of hair :-D) and my hair has been dry ever since but I woke up this morning and my hair still felt soft and moisturized. So thank you.
Hi Elle Just received my Camille Rose Moisture Milk and rice milk is not the 1st ingredient. Still a lovely product. I called and spoke to a lovely woman and she explained that Aveyou may have listed the ingredients wrong and that distilled water is the 1st ingredient as it states on my label. She also stated that if rice milk was the 1st ingredient the hair would be crunchy lol. I thought let me be proactive like Elle and call myself and find out the deal. Rice milk 1st is what intrigued me.
My label (on two bottles) has rice milk as the first ingredient. I spoke with the owner a little bit ago b/c I noticed a discrepancy between their site and AveYou after someone told me they changed their ingredients, and was told the labels were initially incorrect. I'll update my post, sorry about that.
I have a review of the Dew as well that should be helpful for you to compare the two. They are both on my HG List, which is located on my blog (the link is on my channel page).
Ehhh, I'm going to say no. Not sure what kind of rice milk CR uses, but generally, it doesn't contain much protein, and usually non-hydrolyzed proteins have molecules that are too large to bond to the hair.
Girl, KCKT is a JOKE to my hair. I'm still so confused how anyone with type 4 hair can find it moisturizing, it's just that much of a joke to my hair haha. Anyway,. I assumed it had cocont oil which my hair hates...my hair is iffy on avocado and aloe vera in certain products but not in others but I'll still check it out due to rave reviews. Thanks for the info!
high quality, good for our hair products. We will discuss and know what is good and what isn't and won't be tricked. Thank God for our sister's who have 'Pioneered' and were brave enough to speak up. Thank you for teaching us to love our hair and have used this medium so selflessly and wisely... I am proud to have lived to see this day.... thank you.... The End of Abusing our own Hair. The End of paying for someone else hair that was swept up off the floor. The end of thinking our hair is
Elle have you re-purchased this product since it's been launched in Target? The ingredients list is different again (not just at Target but also on her website) and some bloggers are saying that the consistency/performance has changed. Just wondering if you've noted any change in your experience using this product. Thanks!
Im so glad your bad when i saw the news this morning i was very happy Treyvon Martins murderer was behind bars, but i was really happy Elewould be back....yeahh
Ah, I was hoping this was a bit more moisturizing. Gah, I'm just not sure what my hair wants but I know it doesn't like really thick moisturizers and the lighter ones i've tried like hair dew and KCKT have not been moisturizing enough. Ah well....i'll keep looking..
Sounds like a great product. I love the name of it. Your hair looks healthy and is growing nicely. Thanks for the review. It's so nice to have options! I'm confused about milks and how to use them versus a strict leave in conditioner. Do find this give more moisture or you're able to use in different ways than a leave-in? I have not found anything to beat Kinky-Curly leave-in for moisture, accessibility and price since not having to factor in shipping.
I know you've mentioned this in a video or somewhere on your blog. Not sure where to look for it, but how often do you fully wet your hair? I know it probably varies according to what's going on with your schedule, but on average is it every day? Every other day? etc.
great review, i am adding Camille Rose onto my list for summer! i have also been testing ReVe' Essetials for the past couple of weeks! just placed a second order.
Elle, do you know if Rice Milk is a protein or even acts like a protein on hair? I'm trying to check online but I'm not finding much, will continue to do so anyway...
less than, and not equal to. The end of running to cover our hair because it isn't 'done'... Thank you, Thank-You, Thank You.... We are so very very Blessed.
realize ladies. we are on the forefront. these companies are starting to reasearch and understand that what are hair is and what it needs... Amazing great job. Amazing insight to the sisters who have stepped forward... We have turned a corner and we are taking are hair back. We know what it needs and what it doesn't....We are making sense of it. We refuse to ever ever again be dictated to and we will never ever again go blindly and buy anything. Your children will grow up 'entitled to' high
It's Reel Sexy by MAC - from the new collection, with some gloss on top (philosophy pomegranate something). Where's @LolaKinkz? Lol, she hates this color.
Really like this product but didn't appreciate my customer service experience with the Cosby. I'm actually giving aways bottle I don't spend money with companies who's product quality don't match with the customer service quality. :(
Lol @..."I'm gonna say it anyay b/c its my channel". Great video, sounds like a wonderful product. I'm on a quest to cease the inner PJ in me (lol)....however I just may need to try this.
Thank you for the review sweetness

I ahven't tried those products before but I have seen them online thought about trying them glad to know they are good.
If you look at both, there is also no baobab or amla in the new listing either. That's why I thought they had changed the ingredients. **Mystery**
Ordered it and just got it in today!!! Hope this helps with my dry hair ...thanks!!!
I’m 7 years late but, was this any good?
Camille Rose is awesome...love the Twist Butter....now I'm curious about the Hair Milk. Thanks for the review.

What is the color on your lips? I am loving it.
I have a review of the Dew as well that should be helpful for you to compare the two. They are both on my HG List, which is located on my blog (the link is on my channel page).
Hmm, I don't know if you would like this product then? The Dew and Curl Love are both Hair Milk HGs of mine and I find them to be similar.
It's really lovely! I'm glad you like it.
i think i need hair milks. I tried oyin's hair dew but it wasn't moisturizing enough, my hair was happy with the consistency though.
I do it the same way I did it in the sectioning video (there is a notation at the beginning of the vid).
My full regimen is on my blog - the link is on my channel.
Ehhh, I'm going to say no. Not sure what kind of rice milk CR uses, but generally, it doesn't contain much protein, and usually non-hydrolyzed proteins have molecules that are too large to bond to the hair.
is this similar to oyin hair dew? do you like this better?
Nice review. I've been really feeling hair milks lately too compared to just a leave-in. Another one to add to my wish list.
Your hair looks AWESOME! go IZZY! go IZZY!
Well for my hair, the Hair Dew is very moisturizing - do you have high porosity hair?
Thanks for the response.
I have a review of the CD Hair Milk as well - however, I haven't used it in almost two years.
No, I still have another bottle of it, so I haven't gotten the new formula.
cool...especially that it plays well with the gel!
Really loving that lipstick color on u looks gorgeous and thanks for the review :)
Your hair is beautiful! What color is at the ends of your hair?
I love this product it makes my curls so soft and manageable
I love how moisturizing Qhemet's products are.

Thank you! I should probably go back and update all my CM reviews b/c I think some others are diff too.
Can u do another wash and go tutorial. I'm curious to see how u do yours now that your hair is longer

i love the video editing on your videos. It's as if you teleport into the video and then you teleport out haha

Your hair became so long!! Love it and I can't wait till I've got that lenght ♡♡ greetz from Holland :)

this is off the subject......... do you think that you can use the ORGANICALS as a leave in with moderation......

Just thinking! You were reading the ingredients off your label and you read rice milk 1st. Anywho, just thought I would inform you.

Lol @..."I'm gonna say it anyay b/c its my channel". Great video, sounds like a wonderful product. I'm on a quest to cease the inner PJ in me (lol)....however I just may need to try this.
Oh no, no need to be sorry. It's like you always say, gotta do your own research. You only read what was on the bottle you received. :-)
Lol, geek. Thanks!
Cosby = Customer Service lol
Mystery indeed lol
