I don't understand why manufacturers are going with the half wheels? How is that passing regulations? In an emergency maneuver, you will miss grabbing the wheel.
I have to say, after being teased with the LF-Z Electrified for so long with the promise that it was 'similar to production', I'm struggling to find those similarities in the interior and exterior design of the RZ. There's one lesson that these manufacturers need to learn from the EV dominating Tesla brand, and that is that the concept should reflect what the production will provide. I've been on the LF-Z train since it was announced, craving that wide 'butterfly-screen' dashboard, the segregated driver cockpit, and the overall brave and bold design choices. What I see in the RZ just looks like yet another EV that's afraid to stray from it's history. I'm a firm believer that EVs represent a leap forward for humanity, and it's hard to move forward when you just keep looking backwards. Hoping that Lexus will receive similar lines of feedback and work to produce something that has the same boldness and sharpness they presented in their LF-Z concept.
Yeah this production version looks nothing like the LF-Z concept they did. They said they would keep quite a bit of the features but I see that they've just took the RX450 and change the rear headlight + interior. It's a minor change in exterior design, looks quite dated just like the RX450
What a cop out. EV are just bs mate. It’s just the globolobby pushing greenwashing techniques so that companies can justify extorting countries their mines for these precious materials needed to make EV car batteries. The future are hydrogen cells and alternative bio fuels. Imagine doing long destination drives in cold weather in an EV. People can support EV but the same people do not support for nuclear powerplants to provide for all these EV... Second…why are you comparing the LF-Z concept with this car. This is the RZ. This has nothing to do with the LF-Z concept. That R means it’s basically the R line of lexus but electrified. This is literally lexus not strafing from their path while evolving it at the same time so that it doesn’t become too repetitive. This car is what it’s supposed to be. The LF-Z is for the new lexus powertrains and high performance cars. Those are the F cars from lexus. You are comparing apples with fking grenades here bud. Sounds like you are just disappointed in the fact that it doesn’t look like some cheap tesla interior you want it to be.
Don't count on it. I saw thew brochure and the color selection looks pretty boring. They don't even offer the copper/black combo in the States. BOOOOOO!
the only thing I like are the front seats. The 2 finger gear change? Yoke steering wheel? oh and no more SUVs please they block the view from regular cars.
The problem with this Lexus is that the range is kind of low and unlike the preproduction concept, this production version looks nothing like the concept which is a bummer because that was a stellar looking design. It's a huge miss with this really.

True
Or if you kept both hands on the wheel with a firm grip and are paying attention, you would be able to control your vehicle.
@@tommykaira7619 no driver would do that for long drives
@@tommykaira7619 that emergency turn important
Imagine trying to park it too!
I think one in all black exterior with red interior would looks stunning ‼️
Yes
That combo is not going to be available in the States.
