It's easy to see you are a true craftsman, oh boy I appreciate just watching you create such practical masterpieces for use in the workshop, I also love Scott Joplin ragtime, many thanks. Jim.
Seven seconds of video and I LOVE IT. Thanks for not using a "chumpa chumpa" music as my friend says in Spain. I gong to carry on watch in it for my delight.
Very nice. I got a couple ideas from your design approach. Nice use of the laminate surface for the wear surface of the platen too. I don't agree with the other guys' complaining about the CNC, it was the best tool available but I can see you have the skills to have used a hole saw, circle cutter, router etc. The real value is being able to watch someone else work out the same problem you're working on. thanks for a great video :)
When I went to a DIY shop and wanted to make the same thing after watching this video, timber was more expensive in Japan. Chinese finished products sold for $ 45 ...
I used to like Joplin's "The Entertainer". However, now when I hear that song, I don't know why, but I coil up in the fetal position, on the cold, hard floor, and enter a deep catatonic state! ... Otherwise, very interesting and informative build! NOTE: There are very few RUclips videos which would not benefit from additional copious editing! :-)
Good work. But i'm wondering if you are working on the plan and/or template before starting this project? cause i see there is a lot of part that need to be engaged together precisely. Good video again. Thanks for making such.
OK, hmm, not sure we are talking about the same angle? I mean the angle between the plane the sandpapir runs on and the plane/table the sanded part rest on. Is it a sure thing (90°) due the parts just being precisely cut and then assemled. Or is there aligment going on off video during assembly?
pepelacho gonzalez I don't think he said he made it at YOUR home! If I make pancakes at home, and I use a tool you don't have, does that mean they're not homemade?

Good video again. Thanks for making such.
Thank you. I have not templates. I do all the work by memory. I only do some small sketches on paper.
Nice build :-)
One question. How do yuo make sure that the angle between the table and sander is 90 degree and stays that way when you build it?
because I screw the structure that supports the beltsander to the table and confirmed that the angle was 90 °
OK, hmm, not sure we are talking about the same angle?

Is it a sure thing (90°) due the parts just being precisely cut and then assemled.
Or is there aligment going on off video during assembly?
how does the tension work?
BRAVO
Beautiful work, very good !! I would like the measures of the pieces, you can have them ?? I live in Italy, thanks !!
Any place you recommend to buy bearings? I need some for some projects
good
What type of motor would be good for this type of sander, half CV or a CV, thank you?
thank you so much
Great video ! Thank you. Where can I download the plans ?
👍👍👍👍👌
"Homemade" ... if you happen to live in a complete professional carpenter's workshop, with all the expensive machines you could dream of, that is.
👍👏😁
5:29 It looks like the under carriage of a flintstone car.
What do I need to do to get the plans for this project.

What is the name of this song?
Hi I am Carpenter
Home made ?
Looks for a way to save a dollar.....now all I have to do is pull a CNC ROUTER out of my ass.
"background music" too loud.
nice build! :D
You have the ability and the technology in your hands to turn the volume down... There was no dialogue or narrating going on... LoL
Excellent video, links deleted for download the planes someone have the planes please send me, Thanks
“Homemade” ahh yes, I also have a full workshop with Cnc router in my garage...
I dont think you can call it "homemade" if you're using a CNC machine; most of us dont have that at home
exactely, how to make a sander starting with a piece of tree branch? use your 3000 USD CNC... what's the point?
It's not like you actually need a CNC machine to do that though.
Mole diamantate
Alternately, you can do it with router.
Don't cry kids, is just one hole
1 min: Oh, nice music.
5 min: Ok, i hate this music now.
Difficult to say home made when employing CNC equipment.
Those pieces could easily be made using a drill press or even a regular drill with a steady hand.
5:08 LOL
How to build a 20$ tool with..... 2000$ tools ! Thank you mister "DIY" !
this design sanding belt move away from side to side
home made? i dont have a 1:38 tool at home :(
pepelacho gonzalez I don't think he said he made it at YOUR home! If I make pancakes at home, and I use a tool you don't have, does that mean they're not homemade?
Says it's homemade, then pulls out a CNC machine.
can you give us plans
Sorry, i do not have plans. I made it by memory.
Can I view movies on your channel?
مصطفى ابرهيم no

Muy complejo trabajo para tan poca utilidad
Como sabes que tem pouca utilidade?
From The Wood perdón es extraordinario el trabajo
Yeah mate, make a home made sander using a shit ton of expensive tools... Just buy the sander ffs.
E aí funcionou?
Music Is very off putting
what
..
too much special tool
Working👍 Sound..! 🤮👎
I feel like it's point pointless to make this if you're using power tools and a CNC... come on get over yourself
good
