Excellent Video!! This is Extremely thorough and detailed which helps me to know what Exactly I will need to do to install these subs in my X3 M40i! Thank you!
I just swapped my woofers in my h/k equipped G20 chassis 330i. They were not held in place with adhesive and did not require the heat gun. They were only held in with 4 torx head screws of the same head size as the speaker grille cover. I was actually able to do the second speaker without even removing the enclosure from the floor which saved lots of time. My car was a “NA” production chassis-North American, as in produced in San Luis Potosí. I’m bit sure if they are constructed any differently, parts wise, but it’s a relief that mine were this way, as I will be able to swap back out when I’m finished with my lease and I can install them on my next Bimmer without issue!! The speaker enclosure has a nice soft gasket material which formed a good seal.
@@duncanmykocinher3831 YES. The punch of the Bavsound woofers is much greater, and the upper mid-bass range isn’t dead like with the factory H/K wooofers. I listen to a lot of music that has very intense and nuanced bass sounds and the Bavsound woofers keep my music enjoyable.
@@iKnowAguy4 I haven’t heard them in an X3, but the h/k stereos in most BMWs of that generation are fairly similar where the improvement would still be relevant.
Yes! We don't have them listed on the site yet but they will fit in the underseat woofer housings. Make sure you select the 8 Ohm woofers if you have the Harman Kardon audio system (I think the G15 only come with HK and B&W audio systems) If you have the B&W audio system the subs we offer will NOT work for you! They will blow from distortion caused by the amp.
With all these new stereo systems that you are leaving in the cars now can you just set up a sub box in the back? (Thank you car companies for making radios worth keeping). I am always reluctant to do installs like these because the way we used to do it was basically take the radio out, and plug in wire harness that would work for your vehicle and new stereo and wire everything that way, and use the sub-in sub-out, mid in and out high in and out. That kind of thing isn't doable anymore unless you were to go way high end with something that's custom and made specifically for your vehicle so it looks like stock. I was almost at the point where I just dropped a bluetooth speaker setup and bypass the radio all together.

How is the sound? Is it very noticeable?

Are you using the HK Amp that came with your BMW? I'm wondering how these subs will sound in my X3 using the HK Amp. Thanks!

Wow this looks great . Now the question is, does this sub woofer fits E90 , if it does , where to order it from?
Still no amplifier upgrades available, disappointing
are these available yet? can't get to them on the website ...
Are these available in the UK?
We do not ship internationally, but you can use a forward shipper to get our products.
Will these woofers fit in a G15 8 series?

Just ordered my sub kit. 🫡

We don't do the sub box in the back. We just replace the factory subs under the front seats!
Great video but the music is really annoying
21:20 seems like the AC vent is still half tucked inside the carpet
That’s not A/C. It’s a heater duct.
