I kinda took a break from aoe3 and now I'm trying it out again. The economic theory card was taken away from the Spanish and starting TP isn't always close or even available on some maps. I feel for Aussie_Drongo because helping noobs in a game as deep as aoe3 is like teaching chickens to fly with geese. I can keep up for a short while, but fall far behind in the long run.
I am like 99% sure that you can send only 3 vills to wood and you'll have 100 wood before your TC goes idle. H2O does this alot when he plays spain. That way you have extra vills on food.
I think it theoretically should be around the same efficiency. Since you only need to gather a certain amount of wood, you're always spending the same amount of villager seconds on it so the number of villagers used doesn't really matter.
Ok, this was good. I noticed about two or three adjustment I need to make to my opening Spanish strat on both Land and Water. It will be interesting to see at the end which is the fastest of these openers.
Excellent guides, thanks a lot! Regarding the water build: what do you do if the opponent attack on land early? in this guide you didnt place the stables until after you started going up to the 3rd age
I have a two question as a noob. 1. Why he moves villagers so offen in to the Town City and than go back with them to recources ? 2. IF I build a Trading Post I should recive the shipments from capital faster ?
I think he moves them into the town centre because it's faster than them walking around it. Yes, building a TP will give you shipments faster because you can generate xp from the TP (you can however also choose to receive resource trickle from the TP instead of xp)
Great video. One question about water boom. If you're getting attacked by 30 musketeers at the seven minute mark, should you send CM first or improved buildings?
Hey, I just wanted to ask if you could do an ottoman deck build guide, I can’t find one anywhere else. I also don’t like playing ottoman rush. I’m more of a boomer ottoman (: thank you!
But against a human Sweden player, wouldn't a 12/10 into 300wood x 2 be a better opening, as you would want to be sieging down torps as fast as possible?
Speaking as a noob I can honestly say that build orders are impossible to follow. I just played 3 games and never saw a trading post once. Kind of the core of this strat and it doesn't even exist on many maps.
Thank you so much for posting this!
Awesome build! Thanks Drongo
Im an aoe2 player but I love watching aoe3 because of Drongos amazing cast

Waiting on all the Aztecs and India build order cause I think it'll be interesting lol
Definitely Aztecs

@@Gekuu9 You want to have the least amount of villagers switching ressources, as they lose time moving

Would you do a Spanish opening with the new cards after the update?
i am curious at how these change for team games if at all

Do the AI on extreme next time that will be so much more intresting
Yes extreme ai will show about real game experience...
Coming soon to a ladder match near you.

Hi aussie !!
I prefer to play without the logistician - but happy to give it a go too
Is it still viable after the 2021 nerf ?
Thankyou
Very nice , ty
what map is this

Do you have any new ideas now that the Spanish have new Home City shipment cards?
Noob question here, but why not grab the 2nd trading post to the north?
Noob answer here,, I don't know😂😂
He doesnt have the wood for it

OMG, it initially looks like a greedy build in 6 min all out of a sudden 20 Musk rolling out of nowhere.
It’s not greedy it’s just how op the logistician is, very hard to defend unless you know it’s coming
Wales is most often to the west actually
Why does the thumbnail look like aoe 4??
Dude at least put the AI on hard if you're not gonna play against real people, but overall great video.

There were basically no maps without a trade route in rotation when this was made. You could build a church once you hit colonial, maybe.
Waiting for this to end , so i can see the normal videos as i play legacy 🥺
Hola amigos
Aztec plz!
