I live about 45 minutes away. Love this place. The Nile croc has doubled in size over the last 2 years! Gonna be a big girl and I don't expect her to stay alone forever either. These guys take good care of their reptiles
George is one of my best friends. I live in Scotland now, and I do miss him. We grew up right there. When we were kids, we'd catch snakes and take them up to George on our horses. He's a wonderful man. Couldn't know a nicer guy.
Hey Tom, This was right down the road from where my grandparents lived in St. Cloud Florida. I don't know if we ever stopped here back in the day and saw the place since my brother likes snakes. But I remember passing by it all the time back in the day when we would go to see my grandmother in Kissimmee FL
Hey Tom! I just finished the video, it is currently almost 1AM, Thursday 😂! I just wanted to finish it off since i had roughly 10 minutes of the tour left and then the snake milking demonstration. To say that i loved this video and that i was in heaven would be an understatement, wonderful place! I do have a few time stamps for you Tom! 5:50: Now that right there is a big gator, Pete as the signage states. I really enjoyed the alligator signage, how they got Pete and Lupita and all the information on the signage, hell, i enjoyed all of the signage in the video! 2:20: Now that right there is a lot of turtles, i loved when you found the snapping turtle, just chilling in his own little spot! 13:34: Correction: the Gaboon Viper actually has the longest fangs of any venomous snake, reaching up to 2 and a half inches in length! Crazy stuff! 7:56: Now that is possibly the biggest reticulated python you`ve ever featured on your channel, holy shoot! More than likely a female seing as males reach 10-14 feet usually and females up to 25 feet although over 25 is extremely rare. 8:48: The lighter coloured one is most likely going into shed, all reptiles lose their vibrant colours when preparing for a shed. If you know what you`re talking about ( like me for example ) then it`s very easy to recognise. 16:54: Red on black= Friend of Jack, red on yellow= Will killa fellow. I`m sure you`ve heard that one before. 18:36: Well, they don`t have one of my favourite snakes ( the green anaconda ) but i can settle for a yellow anaconda, very cool reptiles. But they do have King Cobra and that massive Reticulated Python which are two of my favourite snake ( and reptiles overall ) species. 18:50: Talk about a beautiful reptile! Oh wow! So beautiful! 19:10: I enjoyed seeing the King Cobra eat his rat. 19:50: A couple of the reptile RUclips Channels i am subscribed to have these guys and one of those channels breeds these guys to help their population, very interesting lizards. 21:30: What a beautiful snake! 25:34: AWW! He`s just a little fella! I quite enjoyed the venom milking demonstration as well Tom. Thanks for including it! Very interesting information and techniques. All in all, excellent facility, great enclosures as well, could have been a bit bigger and decked out but other than that, awesome stuff, i was pleasantly surprised with the variety of snakes and reptiles here, lots of rattlesnakes and stuff. Awesome video Tom! Would you be able to do more reptile location tours in 2022? I would really like that! As always, looking forward to your reply Tom! I hope you and your family ( humans and animals ) are well!
@@TomsRoadTrippin Ok Awesome! I didn`t think you did, i completely understand that you`re busy! I`m looking forward to your reply Tom! I`m hoping that you get to it tonight as i very much look forward to your replies!
This was a fun excursion, not a very big place but they had a lot to offer. I have been a fan of crocodilians since I was a child. Alligators are a big part of Florida, I've seen many , some as big as the one from this facility. They certainly had quite the collection of turtles. Yeah, Gaboon Vipers are pretty cool, their bite would most definitely be worse then their Hisss 😄 The scarlet kingsnake is a nifty little snake, they expertly mimic the Coral snake, very cool. Green anaconda are another cool snake, they can get really long but stay very fit looking. That reticulated python was a female, I cut the part where they fed a rabbit to her. They don't do live feeding so the bunny was already dead. She wasn't hungry as she didn't attempt to consume her meal. I absolutely love seeing albino snakes they are so beautiful looking. I was worried you wouldn't of liked seeing the snake eating the rat as I know what a fan of mice you are. The milking show was very impressive, I enjoyed my time at reptile world serpentarium. I'll try to find a visit more snakey types of places. Thanks for your comment Noah.
@@TomsRoadTrippin Thanks for your reply Tom! To be completely honest with you Tom, i`m dissapointed that you cut the feeding but i understand that the younger audience that watches your channel probably would not like that. Oh boy, as a matter of fact Tom, i love watching snakes eat, you should see my reaction when one of my favourite RUclipsrs ( not a rival to you Tom, you will always remain #1 ), Snake Discovery, uploads a snake feeding video, i love watching their retics and green anaconda eat. They actually have their own reptile zoo that is open to the public, which you should totally visit. It`s in Wisconsin, really hoping that you visit it someday. They have well over 1 million subscribers. I can relate to your fascination with crocodilians, definitely.
Tom, just a quick question, please. The King Cobra that is in this video.. is that Elvis who was raised by Viperkeeper?? I have watched his videos for a few years and i know Elvis went to this Serpentarium. Thank you for allowing me to ask.
I am not certain if it was Elvis, the names if the animals we're not displayed anywhere. I am unsure how many king cobra are housed at the facility to be sure.
That's a great question, while snakes in the wild feel airborne vibrations. I'm not certain if they feel those type of vibration through the layers of glass.
Snakes love the feeling of vibration as a pervious owner of two pythons anytime we were in the car they’ll go straight to the speakers n cling to them I remember one time we jus brought one n it go out the box I found it under the seat
For a small roadside attraction it's really neat. I enjoyed all the different snakes they had. The staff we're amazing, they really helped me get good shots for my tour.
The diamonback does not have the longest fangs. Look to your old world Bitis Gabonica for that, closely followed by Bothrops species from Central and South America.

Those turtles were all so cute I just all of them
They were cute, lots of variety too 😀
Really enjoyed this Tom , thank you.

The vibrations from constant traffic must be quite irritating to a snake. Or no?

The Gaboon Viper has the longest fangs. I thought I mentioned that in this vid, sorry for my mistake.
Thats first time ive seen a yellow anaconda😊
Not many places that I've been to house Yellow Anaconda. Cool looking snakes 😎
1:18 i❤ reptiles
As a reptile keeper I must say many of these enclosures do not meet the reptiles needs that are housed within them
I agree with you Josh, the small enclosures we're disappointing.
Gaboon vipers actually have the longest fangs in venomous snakes
Correct, did I not say that correctly in the video? The Gaboon Viper is my favorite snake.
I live right down the street, about a mile.
