Was looking for a vid that explains more HOW the AWD works on a Sienna. My sense is that it is basically always in front-wheel-drive mode and the extra 2 kick in when needed....right? Is this done via traction control sensors or what?. Reason for asking....my son-in-law has this car and the dashboard warning came on about an AWD problem....hoping to get some feedback from others what the typical cause may be.
it is worth it depending on where you live. I have had the V6 and hybrid Sienna and the AWD is nice to have when it snows. With winter tires the van is unstoppable but a FWD Odyssey, Pacifica or Sedona would probably be ok too.
