Great video thanks so much for sharing. If you charge your batteries then refill with water how long should you wait before you charge again?

Helpful, but video did not show the correct height of water if you do not have the special water filler.

Most people don’t have that type of a fill jug for distilled water… What is the proper amount of water to put in your batteries?

Oh man - I really messed up. Used regular water - let it charge all winter - now the motor bucks - guess I need new batteries - - You can bet I'll be much more careful from now on.

we left Florida till Nov. and left our cart charged up. Should we buy a maintainer, and have it installed by our neighbour or are we ok. Everyone said charged batteries are good for 6 months without it. If so, what kind do you recommend?

I've just acquired a cart (Cushman 2+2) which uses 8V-GEL batteries. They look similar but the four caps say do not remove and underneath have what appears to be metal plates with hexagon shaped indents, not openings to water tanks. Is this because they are possibly lithium as opposed to lead acid? I can't find anything about these, I appreciate any help.

Is a lithium battery upgrade worth it? Do they last as long and do the offer the same amount of run time?

The eco battery lithium's my company uses should be replaced every 8 years and they can last up to 15 years if you treat them good.

One charge should last you 'at least' in my experience 3 days of golf. (I'd charge it the day before I'm gonna use it and every 2-3 weeks you aren't using the cart)

How often should you change your battery’s

It really can depend on the user and how they have been cared for. Most of our customers need to change their batteries every 5-7 years if they have been taking care of them. On the other hand a golf course who uses their carts so much more than the typical user only get about 2-3 years on a set of batteries. It can also depend on the battery brand, some of the more 'generic' batteries are not going to get such a long life. It also can just depend on how far you need it to go. We have customers who only drive short distances and use the same batteries for 10 years because as the battery ages you will just get a shorter and shorter ride. We have a battery load tester we like to use that counts down the minutes the batteries last under load to give you a clear idea of how much life is left in a set of batteries. I hope that helps!
