Jesus took me back to one of my many traumas. I (11) was in a basement with a boy (17ish),was sitting on a rocking chair while I sat on its footstool. We were playing a game (GTA), and at a certain point he started shifting his feet under my bottom was feeling around. I got really nervous, but I had an intrusive thought telling me that he was doing that because he loved me. I just sat there frozen repeating that lie in my head until I believed it. Later in life I started believing something that Jesus told me is another lie: that God gave me that fear I had to warn me that what I was doing was wrong. He told me that I would NEVER give you fear, that "I am a Spirit of Peace" and that feeling of fear was trick from the Enemy to make me freeze and feel guilty after doing so and not tell anyone. He said that I was not in sin in that moment and the many times after, because I didn't know it was wrong. That I was enslaved by him in those moments and just obeying what became my master. This is true for ALL sexual abuse. Whether you're a man or woman, boy or girl, and the abuser is a man or woman, boy or girl. I invited Jesus into the memory just as the pastor said. Jesus took me by the hand in that memory and we climbed up the stairs and went outside. We went into the woods where the there was a beautiful sunset and He says "this ends here" Now whenever I look back at tthose memories all I see is Jesus hugging me. Jesus IS really the way, the truth, and the light.❤ ✝️🕊️

I just heard this song on FAMILY RADIO. It touched my heart, because this is one of my favorite Scripture, especially as being a mother of eleven children and 23 grandchildren and counting Verses 2-5 are Blessed Assurance. Verse 1 speaks to us loud and clear. What Affirmation.

I’m sorry. I will defiantly pray for you. We all just need to remember to give everything to God and ask God to help us trust in him. We can’t do anything alone but with God we can do all things. I just wanted to share something so In my junior year of hs I had this feeling in my spirit that something was going t o happen the year I would graduate which was this year and I had no idea what it was but I knew it was big and obviously the corona and everything happened and at first that’s what I thought God was telling me about but the feeling is still with me ...I really don’t know for sure what it is but I’m excited for what is to come.

I prefer the old English version of this scripture, gives it better context and imagery. It is not the man that will speak with enemies at the gate, it is the children that will as arrows. I know sometimes we as Christians like to shy away from the violent aspects of the Bible but it is a reality. Having many children with you as you fight war is comforting because numbers matter in war. I also believe that we have a spiritual war that is raging and our children will also speak with the enemy at the gates in this aspect too.
