You are right in a way, they even has Mongolian route and through gengis khan. He conquered all the countries through "Silk route" and Afganistan is a part of that. It is no wonder that all khans has links with Afganistan.
'these people' as you put it, are completely satisfied with their language. they can all speak the 'pure language' if they want. but this is how society is in india. this is how we speak, and i don't think anyone should be allowed to make assumptions like you did without understanding the culture and the prevalent norms in the society. it's not ridiculous, it is completely normal.
he speaks very good urdu and i mean urdu not hindi ...cuz i noticed that he uses some words spoken in serious urdu.
this is hindustani, spoken by the masses in india, which is an amalgamation of hindi and urdu. while urdu itself is mostly hindi with some persian and a few arabic words .
p.s. we pakistanis need to embrace our pre-islamic heritage, like the persians and egyptians. an overwhelming majority of pakistanis are descendants of hindus. we live on land where great hindu and buddhists minds once wrote seminal works, that rival the holy quran in depth and complexity, like the vedas and upnishad.

aamir khan is one of india's best or say the only for now...his three idiots was the highgest selling movie in bollywood history if i am right... not only that he doesn't settle for mediocre roles or script...that's worth really rooting for when you want to really watch good movies.

Genuine question here, how do people in india choose what to say in english and what to say in hindi? Do they just go with what feels right at the time?
It's because they know which words are critical to translate then turn into Hindi

Indeed, it is great to see and watch veteran artist Kabir Bedi. My compliments to him and Zoom. Infact, i did not like the Set of the show. It is not so captivating and never matches with the theme of the show. The Set should be quite creative and artistic which depicts the common feature of a director. Hopefully, Zoom would think over it!!.
