OMG! Stephanie. I turned 67 years old August 14th. I realized I haven’t lived my dream. I’ve lived my life (3) husbands (3) adult children and now I’m living on disability.
I want to live abroad but I thought I am too old. I’m currently living with my 31 year old son. He just mentioned that when the least ends in January 2023 that he was going to move into a (1) bedroom that did not include me.
I have (5) months to find a new place to live.
I’ve been watching your videos on house sitting but I thought I was too old. I don’t have enough money.
My dream is to live in Mexico 🇲🇽. I would like to be a house sitter. I would like to live in a community of black people for support. Thank you for sharing and caring. I’ve made so many mistakes. I just don’t want to waste the remaining years of my live just exhausting.

I'm embarrassed to share this, but I have never been in a LTR and I recently turned 43! Before you posted this video, I told myself that I will just have to accept that the Lord does not want me to be partnered up or else I would be. I even thought that it might be too hard trying to live with a husband because I always heard people say you get set in your ways once you get older. I know one thing is for sure, I'm not settling!

Unfortunately, this society has made women feel as though "romantic love," a husband, and children should be the height of our aspirations; that we shouldn't want more... Or just different. When we do, they want us to feel that somehow we are lacking as women. We are socialized to believe we have to have a man to be whole; not that we are already whole... The Creator made us whole.
And whose to say, "romantic love" may not to come until you're 50! Mine came at 37, and it's better than those I know who found it 24. 🤗

    • @StephaniePerry
      @StephaniePerry  2 года назад +13

I don't mean to say that all women prioritize romantic love. I just mean that I don't want to pretend like I don't want it at all.
I'm glad love has been good to you. 🤗

    • @SibongileBNLynch
      @SibongileBNLynch 2 года назад +5

@Stephanie Perry However, I will admit, being married (no children) can cause you to temporarily shift your focus. Dreams merge... Or perhaps they don't. Not to make excuses, but "if I knew then what I know now," I would have pursued my dreams a little harder. If only there had been computers, cellphones, and broader career choices... Things are very different than they were, even just 30 years ago.

Dreams deferred…dreams of a true love match to ride through the remaining years (I’m leaning hard towards 62), dreams of being a full time artist (working on that…at least I’ve started back making artwork after totally slumping for about 5 years), and living in a place in the hills, surrounded by nature but within 30 minutes of civilization (with reliable wifi for digital nomad work in my side hustle editing - just getting started with that!)… oh, I have a lot of deferred but not dead dreams….on hold since I’m the primary caregiver for my elderly mom, who has dementia….but now is planning time… saving, saving, researching…great escape target date: 2025.

Stephanie, you've helped me realize that I AM living my dream. After years of being an overachieving, type A alpha-female determined to climb the corporate ladder, I left the rat race to focus on building my real estate portfolio. Corporate America was never my destiny. Took me years to realize that and the grinding got old. My dream is to have a passive income and "own" my time. The work ahead of me is intangible: expressing gratitude for my accomplishments, keeping my heart open to allow more blessings to flow thru me and sharing with others. This will lead me to my new path..

I went back to school for interior design at the age of 47 or 48. I graduated and now, I started a business, but it’s not been easy. I want to move abroad so I’m trying to make this an online business for the most part. I get some guidance from my girls but they are young and think it’s easy to do. 😡 Mom get a RUclips Channel, do this on IG, post on FB. 😳🙄😵‍💫
Im always trying to do some type of post but boy is it a lot of work.
I think I’ve lived some of my dreams but interior design was a big one for me. It’s been a dream since I was about 8.
Do you have to have a degree to do interior design in Mexico, or Costa Rica? How about Africa in Nigeria, Ghana, or Gambia? These are my questions that I will be researching next. My dream as a child was to travel around the world and find art, decorations, accessories to sell or to put into my clients homes. I told my dad this when I was 10. Maybe it’s going to happen but in a different way. 🙂

I have 3 dreams that, up until this video, I’ve been suppressing &/or just acting as if they really don’t matter that much. My biggest dream is to have time/location freedom to do what I want, when I want from wherever I want. I’ve quit several jobs over the years in an attempt to honor my inner knowing of something “more,” but it has left me being at this big age of regret, in a way. So, my list: 1. I want a loving relationship; 2. I want to own a home; 3. I want to write tv shows & films. I’m a 47-year-old who has spent the bulk of my adult life trying to figure out who I am. I was a teen mom who had to hit the ground running by taking care of my daughter. So there wasn’t much room to dream. I had to work. Now, fast forward to present day, I want to feel secure. Having a loving relationship & owning a home, I imagine, would give me a semblance of safety & security. Answering your questions triggered some things in me & helped me to see that I have some deferred dreams 😢 So, thanks for this video. 💜

Stephanie, there is nothing you cannot be, or do, or have. You are a walking talking Glow Getter. You are wildly successful and an inspiration to us all, so I'm pretty sure you know this. Dreams are an inside job. They come from God and are meant to be. Moreover, your dreams are your business and no one else's. And by that I mean, your dreams have nothing to do with the limited thinking of others. How someone feels about your dreams is literally none of your business. Or theirs.
Your loving self care is not a substitute for having a partner. That sounds to me like poverty consciousness. Your dream is to unite with a loving partner who also wants children. I do not feel that this dream has died in you, nor does it need to. You are worthy of having everything that matters to you come to you. It is never wrong to love yourself magnificently and beautifully, just as you are now doing. It is never wrong to go within, listen deeply, and give yourself what you need. Because you cannot give what you don't have. You are actually paving the way to the relationship of your dreams.
We all are worthy. Sadly, many wonderful, accomplished, beautiful women do not yet know how to care enough about how they feel to put themselves first, so the poverty consciousness continues. Your greatest gift to these women is the power of your example. Never stop believing in your dreams.
We live in an energy universe. We are basically giant magnets all day every day. We attract to ourselves what we focus on, whether we want it or not. This is a universal law that has nothing to do with religion, so no need to let that be a stumbling block. How does this occur? Simply, what we focus on grows. It's like planting a seed and then reaping the harvest. So it pays to be mindful. It pays to be conscious about what you focus on, because what you focus on becomes your energetic footprint, or dominant vibration. And your vibration is what attracts things to you. That old saying that "opposites attract" is actually a flawed premise. The truth is like attracts like, or "Like unto itself is Drawn."
Attention to what is wanted creates more of what is wanted. Positive emotion or a positive vibration replicates itself by attracting more things to be positive about. By the same token, attention to what is unwanted creates more of what is unwanted. If your predominant vibration or emotion is negative -- lack, unworthiness, disbelief, doubt, limitation -- it literally blocks your blessings from reaching you. What negative emotion does attract is more of the same -- lack, unworthiness, disbelief, doubt, limitation -- which can feel like being caught up in a Catch-22, but there is a way out. Listen up Ladies!
Most people create unconsciously, or by default. They do not realize or do not want to believe just how powerful they are. They either do not know or want to know that they actively create their reality by what they spend the most time thinking about, which then determines how they feel, which then becomes their dominant vibration, which then attracts more of same. Ouch. They exclaim, "I would never choose to have this awful spouse, job, home, etc., that I am now experiencing." And yet, that is exactly what they do by focusing all their attention on what is happening around them, which is understandably easy to do because it's right there in front of them.
What's going on around you may seem like reality but it's not the present. That bears repeating. It is not the present. What's going on around you is always the cumulative effect of past energy you have been flowing. Which means you are focused on the past, and ignoring the ripe opportunity in the present to focus on what you actually really want. Why would anyone not want to believe this? Well, because accepting that you have the power to create your own reality requires you to stop the blame game, take responsibility, and do something about it. And most folks are just not there yet. But Stephanie, I'm pretty sure you are.
I'm pretty sure you know from experience that you get what you think about -- whether you want it or not -- by the power of your attention. And that you can tell what you are primarily focused on by what keeps showing up in your life. For the life you dream of to materialize, you must be selfish enough to care about how we feel. You must care about how you feel more than being right, more than what your friends think, more than anything really. And if you feel mostly good, mostly happy, do not change a thing. Better and better things will continue to come to you as if by magic. And if you don't like how you feel, you have the power to change that. Mastering your thoughts and feelings -- your vibration -- is choosing to focus not on where you've been, but where you're headed. There is absolutely no power in the past. All power is in the present moment, the NOW, where you can choose to reach for a better feeling thought. Feeling good is the only path to wellbeing. Wellbeing is the key that unlocks the golden door to the highest and best version of yourself and all that you desire.
We can never achieve what we do not believe. So pay no head to naysayers, however well meaning. Do not be conflicted about what you know you want. Stephanie, your loving and generous tall man is somewhere in the world right now wondering where on earth a woman like you could possibly be -- an open-hearted woman with hair that does not fit into hats whose dream is to start a family with someone like him.
Keep your focus exclusively on the reality of him -- not the absence of him. Keep your eyes on the prize, and he cannot help but find you by the power and strength of your radiant beacon -- your unwavering call to love. LOVE IS THE ENERGY THAT CREATES WORLDS. This beautiful man is living and breathing right now, and he will appear in your life with perfectly divine timing. What's meant for you won't pass you by. And only you get to decide who and what that is. As long as you Believe, All things good must come to you. It is law. Love you Stephanie!! 🌴❤🌴🌞🌴❤🌴

My dream will sound harsh to many but i have good reasons for it: I want the kind of money that will allow me to tell anybody to just piss off. Total financial freedom and peace of soul and mind. Just don't know how to get it. I have nobody to help push it and the current financial climate in the country i live in isn't making matters easy.

The timing of your video is perfect!! For the past 4 years, I've been working a side hustle that I finally admitted that I didn't want to do anymore because it wasn't really my dream. My true dream is interior design and real estate. I've been in love with these 2 for what it seems like forever. However, I buried these dreams out of fear, doubt and obligation. I had other people's voices in my head and very recently, I discovered that some of what I have been doing has been for others and not for me. I've been taking a long hard and thoughtful look at who I am and what I truly want. I keep coming back to my dream and I ask "why not"? Thank you so much for this video because it is a confirmation for me 😊

I’ve always loved traveling the world. I got married and raised my children still desiring to travel the world. I bought books, maps, and watched the travel channel wondering when/if this would happen for me. I thought it might not happen for me.
I was so tired and burned out from life and needed to do something different.
I started following you about a year ago and started dreaming again of traveling the world.
I launched out and resigned from my job 2 months ago. I said I needed a sabbatical for at least a year. Since then, my physical, mental, and emotional health has improved. I’m signing up for Exodus Summit in October. Excited about the information I’ll gain to bop about and become a digital nomad.
It’s so true that our dreams don’t die; we do. I’ve dusted my dreams off. I’m becoming a world traveler 🧳.

Boy I am a dreamer! I am so determined to pursue everything that I have dreamed of. I am proud to say that I have published over 30 books to Inspire and motivate people. Learning advertising and promoting is another story because now I struggle with selling my books.
I pursued modeling, I didn't like the industry, but I am proud to say I tried it. I have started my own mobile business and I am so proud of me. I still don't feel complete, like I'm not working hard enough. So, I keep pushing myself. I think that I am easily discouraged by people around me that don't push themselves (don't have a vison) so they can't see my vision. IDK how to get away from those who feel like people like me are overachievers.

Dear Lucille, Never choose to work against yourself. Never choose to live small or dim your beautiful bright light to make someone else comfortable. Your dreams are yours. What anyone else thinks about your dreams or even you is none of your business. What anyone does or fails to do says more about them than it does about you. How others act is always beyond your control. What is in your control is how you treat yourself.
You are worthy and deserve to have all that you desire. Choose to love yourself. Choose to be happy and feel good no matter what is going on around you, because it is the choice from which all good things flow. Waist no more time waiting around for small offers and crumbs from people who withhold from you. Never look back, because that's not where you're going. Give yourself what you want to receive in all the ways that matter most to you, and watch how those humans who admire, support, respect and love you for who you really are will begin to show up in your life.
Give yourself and your dreams your full attention. Your dreams have indeed been waiting on your acknowledgment and support and love so that they can manifest fully formed into your life, bringing you the greatest joy and peace and love and fun you have ever experienced. And when your dreams become real, give thanks and dream bigger. You deserve it. So go get it!!!! 😄😘🥰

The only two dreams I have is to leave the US and being financially secure. I haven't given up on either but they're unlikely. I'm broke broke. $13 hr broke. I have no savings and I refuse to go back to an American college and incur even more debt. I do have an associates degree but it's useless. I used to want to be a writer but now I just want a job that pays a living wage and doesn't destroy my mental health. I thought I'd be more financially successful in my 30s and I'm not. I recently watched a show called paper girls where the 4 main characters (12 years old) travel 25 years into the future and meet future versions of themselves. All I could think was how 12 year old me would be horrified to see how my life is now.
