Wonder how Isaac and Hector would feel about a singing night creature. Isaac at least would let him sing and be interested in seeing how this creature was difficult
I was always enamoured by Flyeyes in the original series and wondered just how the souls worked and whether one would potentially be able to break free if they remembered who they were. IMO, most night creatures are mindless slaves who don't remember who they are and follow compulsions. Flyeyes was an exception, I feel like he had the CAPACITY to go against Isaac, but as a philosopher and someone who respected Isaac on his own terms for helping him remember who he was, that probably won't happen. Eduoard on the other hand is completely and utterly ready to betray the people who killed and resurrected him and I am HERE for it to see what happens.
Honestly if Isaac and Hector saw a singing Night Creature thats fully kept its humanity thet would treat him like a treasure to be protected. Theres a power in Eduard. Just keeping his humanity is a test to that. Hes one of a kind and i hope we hear more of his voice.
@@Rigga07yea I love how his singing isn’t a thing that only us the viewers can hear to make it more appealing to watch but a actual thing the characters can hear and it also fits perfectly with his character at hand and it doesn’t feel out of place not to mention how cool it is that they chose such a beautiful harmonic song for a intense battle all in all just a amazing scene ❤😌✨
That moment when he holds that note high while the group meets Drolta Tzuentes face to face and Maria’s father is standing next to her, everyone’s shenanigans are unveiled.. bro what a build up and what a song. Pure Magic
Edouard was easily the most compelling factor of this season for me. Such an amazing voice and character turned tragedy. Olrox and his discontent with the way the "Messiah" was dealing with things and the forgemaster's book makes him a close second. Cannot wait for the following season's potential team-up between Richter and him given the inevitable clash between them.
Compelling? His entire character was literally just "I sing for white people for my own intel and benefit, not because I seek to change their hearts." We don't even know how he's such a good sword fighter that he's able to kill multiple vampires by himself, he just is, and then he somehow magically can make Night Creatures break their bonds with their Forgemaster with a couple simple probing questions. We got almost 2 episodes worth of development for Anette, but hardly any for other characters.
@@j-dawg4774 I guess you must've not watched the show then because we were clearly shown that Edouard had some power regarding souls, though he wasn't explicitly aware of it. And as for his sword fighting abilities, he was literally part of the revolution, do you think he didn't train when he wasn't busy singing? Lmao.
@melanch0lycat5393 Obviously but we don't see any insight to his past, the only thing we learn about him is he's a singer, not where he trained or any real quality that attaches us to the character to make his fate seem more heartbreaking, he's just sort of there. Also WHERE does it say he can manipulate souls? You can't just say "well obviously he can manipulate souls" if it's never been brought up even once. How is he able to keep his conscious alive so perfectly that he betrays his own master? If he puts his mission in jeopardy, why wasn't he dispossed of? They could've built on him a bit more and saved the moment he finally breaks free for later in the season, but the writer figured "nah, he can just do stuff." He doesn't even try while convincing the other night creatures, he literally just said "you wanna be free" and they were like "yeah"
@@j-dawg4774 I never said anything about **manipulating** souls, that's entirely on you lmfao. But he literally said he was able to see the colour of people's souls while he was singing on stage, and it's shown again that there's more to it when his singing is shown to affect the night creatures in some way. "not where he trained" Obviously the same place Annette trained? Duh?
