  • Muntjac Haunch Steaks. The muntjac maybe one of the smallest deer in the UK and certainly one of the most prolific but, pound for pound, it really is one of the tastiest.
With it being an invasive Species it has no season neaning they can be stalked all year round. Its a win win. Enjoy...

You inspire me to do my dream. I'm a deer stalker and with the qualifications here in Ireland. Thinking of investing so can produce venison boxes for sale locally. Great demo and film quality Scot

You violated the shanks again! I would never do that. Everyone in the family has their piece. Favorite. The shanks belong to my youngest brother.

Not sure why the algorithm brought me here as I haven't butchered or gutted a rabbit or fish for about 40 years. Still enjoyed the video though, thanks. Feel hungry now! 😀

Hey Scott, Wondering if you've ever tried to butcher using flint or chert knives and flakes?
That could be a whole series...

We raise our own lamb and sometimes slaughter early. I like to watch these muntjac videos for a reference on them. Works better than trying to butcher them like a full size lamb.

    Hi Scott.
Just wondering if you have a video on how you process the trim, beef or Lamb would be brilliant. I’m following your advice on home butchery, 👍now it’s the trim, so I can get value.
    Cheers .

I just made braised venison shanks a couple days ago, you really cant get any better meat than wild caught meat.
