Going off of what tru3 said at the start. The risk of being a guard is that you are expected to run towards combat. Not away. If you see a guard running from combat you know its a person.

Don’t get much chaos in this game but when you do get it, it’s so much fun to play especially third partying someone

It doesn't feel like the guards are all that strong. Sure, they can go into any room because of clearance, but they seem so much more out of place. The npcs will go into every room, but they barely linger, so when they do, you pretty much have a guarantee that its a player.
