Does this song hit anyone else a little different since Akira Toriyama died? I know he didn't have a hand in most of the series shown here, but I can't help but feel like Goku set an example for the headstrong, determined protagonist archetype.
This is my first time listening to this again since akiras passing and you have a good point at least to me. For me Goku was the first real anime/manga protagonist that got me into anime and this song definitely fits him,, Naruto, deku, and many others

ok i don't know how i missed this song, but I found it around the perfect time of needing something motivational. I had lot happen lately that just made me feel like the world was fallen on me, but this song randomly got put on my mix right after my favorite Divide music song "Always Hated Goodbyes", while I was out on a run to clear my thoughts, and when it played i just felt the urge to sprint till my legs gave out. After i good while sitting along the road just replaying this song i felt all the weight fall off, even though i lost a very close friend they would want me instead of distancing myself, to celebrate the life he had with the friends we made. This song always kinda symbolizes that sense him and me grew up on anime like Naruto and one piece, while most of our other friends are just getting into anime with My Hero, Black clover, and Demon slayer.
