The Stug has a track adjuster, its the same as the M1abrams, It's right at the back by where your finger was by the idle wheel. If you pull a link out and force the track back together the track will be so tight you'll snap of the idler wheel after some time if it's got a plastic arm.
You are correct, but the premise is true in that not all Heng Long tanks have the ability to adjust the position of the idler to increase track tension so for those tanks the best way to do it is removing track links. This video was less about specific tanks and more about ways to adjust the tension. Sometimes, even adjusting the idler wheel won't be enough and you'll have to still remove a few links to correct the tension
Its the same as the Abrams in this video. Remove the idler wheel with a phillips head and you will see the same repositionable nut under the wheel. Reposition it outwards for more tension and then screw back in the wheel.
