@@carsonianthegreat4672 Yes it is - the general decline is being masked by the "Flynn Effect" which is over represented in the calculation of IQ - but general IQ is decreasing. One reason it is decreasing is that about 70% of IQ is genetically inheritable... and those with high IQ's these days generally have fewer kids. Years ago those with higher IQ's generally had more kids than those with low IQ's. This can be confirmed by looking a birth and death records over the past 200 years (available in local city records and/or heritage annals etc), comparing that to the professions of those having kids, education level and so on and so forth.
@@carsonianthegreat4672 In many western countries, IQ scores have been falling about a point per decade since the 1990's. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. There are two contributing components to IQ scores, the general factor of intelligence (which is what the test designers want to measure), and non-g factors or "contaminants" which are more trainable. The more g loaded the factor, the less of a Flynn effect is apparent. The Flynn effect is mainly on the items with weak g-loadings. Something like simple reaction times, which are about 30% correlated with general intelligence but experience no Flynn effect, have been plummeting since the nineteenth century at a rate that indicates nearly a standard deviation drop in intelligence between circa 1880 and 2000.

The religious divide between North and South,MainLine Liberal and Conservative Southern denominations in America was due to the Civil War. The North faced a crisis of faith for the destruction they inflicted on their cousins. Fathers and Mothers stopped talking about God to their children which lead into outright resentment against their established religion and a collapse of the Seminaries. Because the South lost the war, they kept their faith and their religious education of clergy authentically Christian. The Episcopal Church today is not Christian at all which is why all that’s left of it are hippie heretics beautiful buildings and lots of money.
I’m not sure how much significance the Civil War had to do with the North losing their faith. Seems a little to simplistic to me. Just my own personal thoughts
Can you really blame the Orthodox in Israel for fighting so hard for their religious culture and identity decimated by 100 years of Marxism/Nazis/Stalinists etc.? If it weren’t for them, the surrounding growing religious world would not recognize any legitimacy of the Jewish State. A Pride Parade in Jerusalem will spell the end and only the Orthodox seem to recognize this inherent reality. They deserve more respect and less denigration from the pseudo wise who think Materialism for a living.

How do most people end up as atheists, also through their parents, so it is not only the religious folks anymore. Also, if you are making the assumption that once born as a religious person, they always remain religious, then how did your religious society become (in some places) majority atheists while their grandparents were religious? So I argue it is easier for religious folks who were born into a religion to hold on to their religion if that religion actually makes sense (Islam), this definitely helps.

@@carsonianthegreat4672 not just apologetics ut has also given Traditionalists a voice to argue against the modernity which has come into other religions. and its becoming quite Popular. As a catholic there are few people I know who are not inspired by or admire The tradionalists foubd on RUclips.

British Born Hindus / Sikhs and Buddhists Very Religious - Hmmm I have been to the UK several times, I don;t think so. They seem VERY Secular and Very Westernized. Also Intermarriage between those groups and the general population is increasing....

The word 'religion' is used in the wrong way, again.
And so the whole building of thoughts, made by this man, is useless to live in.
Religion means; to reunite with God. That is all.
So we have to look at;
-is God known by the different institutions that claim the label 'religious'.
And we have to remember the word;'it is by the fruit we recognize the tree'
And we have to wonder about God Himself; can you understand He is the Master of the playing board and will not let His people stand alone? He is, in His own words, a carrion to this world and the children of the world turn their heads where ever they smell it.
But the vultures know where to find their food. There are but a few vultures in this world right now and while the children of the world explain 'everything' to eachother, and believe everything from eachother, the vultures, few as they are, eat their fill and shall come foreward in due time.
But not yet....soon.
For the world has to rise some more, until she reaches the right hight to fall from.
You see, the power is not in numbers! The power is in Truth.
