Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Oh my Lord, God, and Saviour!!! I had no idea the richness of that verse. Restoration is going to be pure, exciting, and astounding; unlike anything we ever experienced before!!!
I came across this magnificent sermon a few days ago, and have already listened several times. For some reason this verse has been of comfort to me since I was in my late teens. Without going into unnecessary detail the locusts have eaten up most of my life due to horrible abuses done to me, as well as my own willful transgressions. Now, in my mid-50's, I truly understand what this means. I had to learn the hard way, but the Lord has already restored a great portion in the last year, and my courage and resolve to finish the race enables me to face each day with the eternal joy awaiting me in Heaven. Many thanks for posting.

It’s almost near impossible in this world to not be tempted by sin and to sin. You really have to live under a rock and avoid the world 🌎 Probably great advice. At times when I felt free only to find myself knee deep in sin before I know it. 🤦♂️
A very timely sermon, a much needed teaching, for all descriptions of the Christian today, I fall under one of these categories and it has brought a renewed desire to deepen my walk with Jesus.
God surely blessed Pastor Spurgeon with a great gift of teaching and preaching. How the world could use thousands of him today. Agape - Maranatha!

My life at present is concrete evidence of the promise of God to "restore the years the locusts have eaten." I know for a fact that after The Resurrection, all of those eaten years will be as nothing for the rest of eternity as a result.
