    It worked because this is what we had to do for the next few years re testing. Both of us need permission to investigate.
    Full legal leaks to prevent this happening to a toaster. Save a fire for my mum x

    Will there be an opensource repository for SnapShield or free variant?

    • @Michael-lx1td
      @Michael-lx1td Год назад +6

      Antivirus products need a team of testers and closed source to gatekeep the work to protect it from freeloaders is done because you need to fund staff and you don't want the virus makers to know how the antiviral software works

    Is there any option to purchase SnapShield for people who are running UnRaid / TrueNAS at home?

    • @45Drives
      @45Drives  Год назад +3

      We developed SnapShield to be run on 2 specific OS'es for the 1.0 release. Those are Ubuntu 20.04 and Rocky Linux 8.
      We are actively listening to the community and our customers to shape out our roadmap going into the future, but as it stands today those are our supported operating systems.
