What are your questions about Rule Manager?
I tried creating the SL the same as yours and I get an error about not being able to convert a double to a bool.
Hi Hugh, Thank you very much for the show specially about Naked Market Software , i dont decide yet to buy it because i dont see the setting of the steps (Start, steps and Stop) , will be more easier that the software simulate different parameters settings and split the most optimized of them , it is too much time wasted to change the parameters manually, and an another thing very very important not exist any possibility to set a total number of simulations if the user wanted or just to let software generate all possible combinations , please can you tell me if the software have this options or not , really i am looking something like that, but generally it is a good software and cheap , because you simulate different assets at the time, also if will in future in the software can show the parameters settings in 3D for to shown the areas of profitability or Loss. cheers

how would i set an entry order after a condition 10 bpips awqay from previous day low
I've been poking around in the program to try it out, but I think it needs a lot more tooltips. How are we supposed to know what void bars are? There's a lot of 'rules' prebuilt in there that I have no idea what they do.
I think trendspider really did most of their strategy tester well, except from allowing you to manually step through all the data, it was just an all or nothing analysis. The metrics you could choose though were intuitive when building it though.
Also, I don't know if I asked you this already, but with forex tester 5.. are you able to build automated testing like this? It seems like they talk about it when you're buying the program, but it seems like it's paywalled into a whole seperate program named 'Easy Forex Builder'.
Yeah, the program is new, so there will be some documentation missing and a few bugs. But just report them and they will fix them. You can check out the wiki to get more information on what the functions do. That's why I created the video, to explain more of the functions. Once you understand how NM works, the concept is genius.
A lot of the automated products have great strategy builders, but they are missing the manual building element. Not every strategy can be automated and most people don't think like a programmer. That's where NM comes in.
The EA tool for FT5 is pretty much useless for testing real strategies. It doesn't have enough logic. You can try it for free. It will allow you to test some basic ideas, but nothing more. Why did you discard the swiss results?
It would be usefull to find out what happened in the market that made profit go negative and if it could be easilly avoided.
This is just an example. I'm not looking to optimize, just demonstrate how the software works.

Do you have any experience using mt4 backtesting on crypto exchanges?
I just don't get it to work for some reason. New to metatrader but do have 5 years of experience using other software. But MT is consuming my will to live at the moment lol.
MT seems to be the solution to some features i have been looking for, but damn, does it have a learning curve compared to other available solutions.

Hi, this is only for testing. But once you have the system created, you can easily find a programmer to create a plugin for your preferred trading platform.
