Unfortunately I bought from Naked Markets and I don't recommend it.
The software is interesting and the team was helpful when I had to make the refund, however I found numerous problems that in my view make it impossible to use the software smoothly.
Anyone who is interested can buy it to try it out, as they really refund without bureaucracy if you don't like the software.
I plan to buy Forex Tester 5 and I hope it meets my need.
Like I mentioned in the video, this is new software and there are still a few bugs to be worked out. So you have to be patient and ask for help from their support. This happens with all new software. They are fixing bugs as quickly as possible and they just added a fix that increases the stability significantly. Once it's running, it works great.

I bought forex tester 4 two years ago for 75 usd. Don't have any data subscribtion, but I also don't have a strategy of my own yet.
A good tool to play around, just to get a feel for the price movement.

Nice, buying every new version can be overkill - sometimes it can be beneficial to skip a release, e.g. skipping some new iPhone models.

1 thing to add is that all forex tester 5 index data's daily candle period separation happens at midnight (no matter what time the index actually opens and closes for the day) and you must adjust the timezone to allow it to come close to the index actual starting time. This makes the daily candles show as 6 day weeks and open, highs, lows and close within the daily candle to be inaccurate.
i just bought the lifetime subscription to forex tester 5 and use 5 indicies in 1 project as a strategy. I am from Australia and like to trade the AUS200 which opens at 11:50pm GMT+0 so the daily candles are out by 10 minutes if i set the forex tester project to GMT+0. I also like to trade other Indices from around the globe in the same project including the US500 which opens at 2:30pm GMT+0. The data for the daily candles on the US500 if running 2 indicies in the same project also start at midnight GMT+0 on forex tester 5 (but not in real life), and is out by a whopping 14.5 hours compared to real data open, close, highs and lows. This is a major oversight by them and advertise to have the ability to backtest index funds, but fail to mention the fact that you can only test one index per project (unless you want skewed data) and the fact you must adjust the timezone to suit the index opening time and it will only be truly accurate if the index opens on the hour (which the AUS200 and US500 do not). In my opinion the data deserves a 0.
I am going to try to get my money back on the program as i need accurate daily candles and was thinking of buying naked markets. Are you able to confirm what i have mentioned above is not an issue with the naked markets program?

Hi, you can do multiple charts, but the drawings don't automatically show on all charts.

NakedMarkets, period. FX Replay doesn't have enough historical data, same problem that TradingView has.

I'm not sure if the lines will draw automatically. Download the free versions and test it.

UPDATE: NakedMarkets now has data import! That's really the last feature that it was missing.
Can I import data from everywhere? NASDAQ 100 from OANDA broker?
Personally, I believe the best things about Naked Markets are the free tick data, and the ability to build and backtest automated strategies. Also, I really like the analytics. The backtesting features are more powerful than Forex Tester. Also, it’s harder to test your own automated strategies in Forex Tester.

What’s your take on FX replay?

If you dont mind can I ask you some questions about nakedmarkets?
1. Can you go backward and forward in time like in FT ie I usually go backward or forward a few candles to see how my entry would change depending on candles/lines etc and then redo the entry based on other criteria or is it like tradingview where you can only go forward?
2. Can I say manually enter a trade and have NM automatically exit a trade say "close of a candle above/below a moving average or supertrend indicator"?
3. Can I easily switch between time periods like in FT I have 1 key to increase my time and 1 key to decrease so I can easily go from the 5 to 15 to 1 hour to 4 hour in back down again with just a few buttons? (I see there are buttons but can you use keys rather then mouse click a button)
4. Can you easily decrease the spacing between the candles (it to make more of the chart fit on the screen) and increase the candles to bring it back - again in FT I can now do this with 2 keys so I can get a better picture of the market and bring it back down to normal viewing.
5. Is the supertrend indicator available in NM? I was able to add this to FT and have it in FT.
6. Does NM have cfd of the indicies - I like the charts of FT of the dow/nas100/sp etc rather then the straight futures chart of the dow etc...?

Yes to everything except the supertrend indicator and Index CFDs, but...
You can ask them to add the supertrend and there's a good chance they can.
If you already have FT, then you can export the Index CFD data from FT, then import it into NM. NM might also be willing to add CFD data for the indexes, ask them.

How about a demo of how you use the nakedmarkets program; there really are not many videos out there just using it, from placing a trade to drawing trendlines (I have seen your video(s) of the automated part (which is good btw).
