Fantastic little bullet, It will never be one of my top choices. Full video is over on my Patrion page. / cavedweller1959 For Tees & Hoodies my-store-47fa1f.creator-sprin...
You gotta just sit back and smile a little bit. Dogs are one of the most cooperative animals to shoot. They get up on a mound, offer themselves broad-side, and jut freeze there until they explode🤣. But that's some very good shooting CD and I look forward to any videos that you see fit to upload...
I've tried several brands and rds for doggin out of .223, .223AI, 22PPC, 22-250AI and Nosler 50/55's gave me the best BOOM past 350yyrds but my go to Bergers 45/52's. Berger bullets are tack drivers and under 300ish yds dogs are red mist, no toasters, no barrel rollers just vapor. I'd really like to hear some of your recipes for mid weight rds out of the .223AI.
Not a favorite bullet for the .222, I have no saved data for it. But if I was to start reloading from scratch for it, Benchmark, H335 & X-Terminator would be the first in line.

The 40 Vmax is my go to .22H bullet at 2900fps.
Love it for my 22 hornet and 223
Mornin Man!
I love a 40gr ballistic tipped Nosler with 25.5 grains of N133 in my Rock River Ar15... Shoots bugholes...
I like the 40 grain vmax for coyotes and bobcats out of my 222.
Ever try the nosler varmageddon bullets? I haven't tried then on prarie dogs, but they drop yotes in there tracks.
I use them in my swift and 204
@@wilmamcdermott3065 I just worked up a load for my .22-250. Can't wait to hunt with those rounds.

BOOM. THWAP. (giggle).
40gr vmax with as much 2460 as you can get in there. The app says it drops at 250 yards but i don't see it till beyond 300
Sorry for asking, Compared to 55/62gr is that 40gr can be make some sense to be used by military as standart issue?
What is your favorite 222 load with 40 v max ?

Do they taste good, them prairie dogs?
I've never met a Coyote that would pass one up.
