I'm starting for ultra budget one trend here in Philippines, the Leaven K620, and my goal is not to overspend coz I'm still studying. But overall, the KB modding rabbit hole got me. @@benfromsg
Definitely a board I'll ever get to try at a meetup haha. Do you think it was worth the price for you? It's absolutely beautiful, but how does the feel and sound compare to other boards?
I feel the typing feel and sound is average. But it’s good, like, no mods needed good. Perfect out of the box. Personally I think retail makes sense, approx 500-600usd price range, but aftermarket…… nah 😅 but I had to own a piece of history, so I feel okay about it haha
Thank goodness the hobby is going back to pre-COVID days. Smith&Rune being called out for their Alice, LZ extending his GBs, and Geonworks + Glare keebs, and of course, the Cycle 7.
Good and bad I think. There’s less “innovation” if you can call it that, in terms of design because there’s less interest and demand these days. COVID was when the Tenet, Sonnet, (millions of budget GMMK pros) and PBT-GMK alternatives showed up because everyone wanted something new and different. I hope and I really hope that pbt manus are here to stay, but I doubt it with the drop in demand.
@@benfromsg PBT manus are here to stay if GMK doesn't get their long wait times sorted. I've been able to get countless decent CannonCaps sets in-stock & (sometimes)on sale. Meanwhile, my first GMK set (Momo Yume) was just delivered. 🫠
S/o to Dadesin for building Keycult's reputation that they then squandered. The hubris is amazing
Amen to that man. Amen
Nice workspace dude! I'm starting to build my first budget friendly mech kb. This vid inspires me.
Glad it did! What mech are you building?
