Congratulations to you both! Im living in Uralsk KZ now and glad to know your wife is from here too. Kazakh wedding is such an amazing event to attend, it has a lot of dancing, singing, sharing and cultural showcase! It was my first time to attend a Kazakh wedding and the first time to experience a wedding for 7hours! Really amazing!

pras kd my faith is between me and God and i dont have to prove it to you or to anyone else.! If you are smart enough, you will think twice before you even comment here! It is no where in the video it mentioned faith or religion, did you open their hearts to look what faith do the couple have? It is not my problem that you mix things up not differentiate between religion and traditions! My comments were about the video without assumptions about their faith, simply it’s because not my business!
pras kd you need to understand that Kazakhstan has many faiths within its boarder, do your research, as for me, I am proudly muslim and my sister is married to a Muslim, and in general female Muslim isn’t allowed to marry to a mon-muslim, I ALREADY KNOW THIS! Stop playing the smart.
AGAIN, it is not my problem that your mind can process the simple fact that maybe they have the same faith already, maybe they are Atheists, maybe Agnostics , maybe, maybe , maybe, just because the bride is from khazakstan does not mean she is muslim, even if she is a muslim, maybe she and her family are not aware of the Sharia!

"Beshbarmak" isn't the name of that meal. It is called "et", which means meat. Because it is meat. "Beshbarmak" is a ridiculous name given by Russians to the meal. There were Russians in the past who thought that they know Turkic languages better than Turkic people. So they come up with names like that. For example, "kaganat". Now many Kazakhs get used to it. We wouldn't call the meal "beshbarmak". Because we don't call fingers "barmak", we call them "sausak". "Barmak" means a thumb. You don't have 5 thumbs on your hand, do you?
Parmak is finger in Turkish. Also, basbarmak (the 1st finger) is a thumb in Kazakh. So I think there is nothing wrong about beshbarmak!
You crazy? It has A few different names in different regions of Kazakhstan. There's a word "barmaq" in kazakh. Eg. "Bas barmaq" which means the main finger. İf you are not aware of any other dialects other than your region, you better shut the hell up. Stop disinforming other people. Who are you? A primary school student?

I don't think it matters if he is from America or not. He seems like such a nice and open minded person. He learned so many traditions of kazakh culture which are unfamiliar to him just for their wedding. I wish for every woman to find a man like Dennis who would put so much effort to make his wife happy.
Mara Po he can only make her life happy if this American is willing to adjust to Kazakhstan tradition, culture and forego some American culture and mindset. I doubt American men are willing to do that. Not American character to adjust.
