Yeah I knew this one was gonna be up there on your list. Very Zep esque riff, but quickly they make it their own in the verse and chorus. For sure the heaviest song YET, youll enjoy the next one :) I love the bass "chugs" and the guitar tag overtop of the verses.
I don’t have a favorite off this album (they’ve all been my favorite at some point) but I really love Age of Machine!
Also, the next one has a music video 😉
They used this as an opener on their last tour. Great way to start a show
I knew this would be a favourite. Was often the opener. If you like Black Sabbath the next song won’t disappoint.
Jake has a lot of pedals which he wires himself; his grandfather was an electrician. He loves finding new technology that creates new sounds on his 61' SG Gibson. He has more than 2 amps but there is definitely a Marshall stack behind him.

TBAGG is a bold, cinematic album that you have to live with and pay attention to. The songs tell a story with a lot of symbolism. It reminds me of a 70’s style concept album. It definitely showcases their musicianship and I love how Josh uses his voice like an instrument.
Josh really does play the vocals 😆
The album is definitely a journey. It’s been a looong time since I heard and enjoyed a complete album

When they started touring behind this album (TBAGG), they were opening with Heat Above, which is a great opener, but they switched to opening with Built By Nations for pretty much every show in 2022 and 2023, with just a few exceptions. Great banger for an opener. Literally used to open something like 75 concerts in the last few years.
I wish the guitar solo would be longer too 😊 one of my top 3 favorite songs of them

You e it the nail on the head with the lyrics. A lot of their stuff going back to From the Fires, think it was Black Smoke Rising, well quite a few of their songs lyrics are based on what man is doing to the planet.

So many good songs on this album. I plan on getting it on vinyl this week. It’s about $40 for the standard black vinyl.
Great tune by Greta Van Fleet, for sure. I consider myself a big fan. I am 65 years old, retired drummer. You should try reviewing some other newer bands. I would like to suggest Rival Sons. They are another modern, great rock band that doesn't get the credit they are due.
I will definitely be doing that. I fell in love with GVF so quickly that I wanted to react to all of their albums. So I haven’t allowed myself to listen before reacting. I’ll be finishing TBAGG soon. I’ll be moving on to other bands. Many have suggested Rival Sons. They will surely be in my list to react to!

They are both good, but they don't have IT, I observe that people tend to gravitate toward GVF, they love them. I think it's some kind of true old school rock'n'roll feel, I can't really grasp what is it. When you listen to other new bands they sound new. And as Shotgunn said in one of his reviews, GVF soundtrack old and new at the same time.😮
I reckon Dirty Honey is just about the best new band there is, ( in addition to GVF) they are 🔥

Spoiler - the new album's first 4 songs released don't have much at all in the way of long solos. Im gutted.
