Great to see an experienced aikidoka encourage others to explore variations of hip throws.
There are some really nice mechanical basics in there, well worth sharing with anyone who is a newb at hip throws, nicely explained
the first 2:15 seconds is pretty much all you need to know for 90% of hip throws, really cool resource - the rest is worth watching for detail
Thank you again to Paul sensei for a great session.
Great video, there are soooo many different ways to perform koshi, and different mechanics work better for different body types so the more you know the better.
very different to the Aikido koshi's I've been shown but definitley adding the "shorter person" version to my toolkit. TY!
Agree carla but the more we know the more we know!
👏👏
