Thanks for this very clear Video. I was a bit lost concerning "how to use my Mower in my second residence" after the purchase of a second charging base. Now it works and your are my saver ! Txs Again !
Thanks for these videos. I don’t see profiles under settings menu. I have a 405x. I have 2 base stations - one for the front yard and the other for the back yard. Front and back aren’t connected and hence this set up.
Hi there - We have this same scenario as described in this video - 2 charging stations, 2 different boundaries, 1 mower, etc. Just a couple of questions. Do we have to use the profiles as described in this video? What is really the purpose of setting up and using the profiles? Your content has really saved us - thank you so much!
Interesting but didn’t cover my scenario - I have large rear garden with power connection, a medium sized side garden with no power connection and a small front garden with no power connection. I am happy to carry power from one zone to the other a couple of times a week but no base station also which require power connections also. Is there a solution for this? Many thanks in advance for your response :)
You can solve this problem. on the main installation you bring the perimeter wires together and then run them to the second area. loop the area required. This is now your secondary area . When you press start you will notice the option for secondary area. Press this when you are on the second lawn . Hope this helps . mRobot.
@@mincost9542 This covers my scenario also, but my front yard is completely separated from the back yard. Just to clarify further, I need to carry the mower out to the front yard and get it going. Can I do that without a second station in the secondary area?
@Aaron, if you only have one charging station but want to mow 2 areas that are separated and the mower can't get there on it's own, then setting up a secondary area as described in this video: ruclips.net/video/7tH-K2W4qMM/видео.html
Very helpful video. I am adding a second 450x to our property with 2 chargers and 2 loops. Is it possible to pair both mowers to the same charger for the occasional situation where I would like both mowers mowing the same loop?
Bob, just so you know, the previous (second) generation there was that possibility for that (200-series). I don't know the specific constraints for that but if you hear anyone telling you otherwise later on, then they have outdated info. I can just imagine it creates just headache for at the development of the product. One mower, one loop, one station - keeps things simpler. Boundary wires for husqvarna machines can be put together or even overlap so you don't need to get anything uncut in between.
Hoping for some help here. Trying to keep this short: 2x 450x mowers, 2x Chargers, 2x Loops. One of the 450x mowers operates fine in both loops. The other 450x will not connect to either charger and complains of no loop signal even with green leds going on both bases. Pointing towards a bad loop sensor - can I purchase a loop sensor, install it, and expect that it may fix the issue as a non dealer? I love all your videos, they have helped me avoid and overcome many problems with our mowers. Thanks!
Had a lot of issues this year with my 450x. In the spring the charging station wasn’t putting out enough voltage for the loop signal even though the transformer was putting out the correct voltage. Took it to the shop and a new circuit board was installed in the charging station. Worked for half a day then mower kept shutting off. Turned out it had a 2G communication card in it. Swapped that out for a 3G card. Worked for a couple weeks and now the mower keeps saying no loop signal. I’ve checked the voltage again and it’s low again with no green light on. I find that when I just leave the mower sit in the yard without touching it a few hours later it starts running all by itself and green light is back on the charging station. I would appreciate any help!
I am considering an automower. I have 7.5 acres and I know that’s too much for s single unit. What I am hoping is I can set up 3 zones and essentially cover 3.75 acres. Is that possible with one unit?
At the moment you would likely need 3 x 450x automowers. due to the size of your lawn the automowers would need to work most of the day and night giving. No spare time to be placed on other lawns . If your interested I’d advise getting a specialist out to look at the area and advise what is best . mRobot
Sweet. Now all I have to do is get that second house 😁 can you look at the 12 second video I uploaded to my channel band tell me if you've ever heard a 450X sound like mine 😮

Same here....I just got a 405x this week, and can't see profiles in the menu? Did you figure out why you can't find it in your menus?
The 405 does not have a profiles setting at this time
Now this is some very useful information!

Buy something more capable for your garden than Automower 450X.

Nope. You can only pair 1 mower per charging station.
@@EshlemaniaTV Bummer, but I had a feeling that was the case. Thank you so much for your reply. Really enjoy your channel!

Looking to purchase another charging station where’s the best place to do so. I see some online would a 430x work on 315x?
